Dr. Marrapese has over two decades of experience working in the fields of criminal justice and forensic psychology. Her background includes private investigations, maximum security prisons, the parole board, forensic psychiatric hospitals, jails and program development.
Dr. Marrapese earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Psychology from Bastyr University, a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Washington School of Professional Psychology and a Doctorate from Saybrook University & Research Center.She then returned to Seattle and completed a post doctoral fellowship at The Fremont Community Therapy Project, under the tutelage of esteemed forensic psychologist and feminist therapist, Dr. Laura Brown.
