Horrible. They scheduled an appointment for me on a day they were closed. Admin staff were very rude and slow. I don't know how these people are still in business.

Atrocious, would not recommend. I went in for a walk-in appointment last week, and it was absolutely dreadful. The wait times were unreasonable and the front desk's organization in regards to the order patients get served was almost nonexistent. Once in, you wait a few hours more just to listen to staff gossip instead of doing their jobs? The doctor herself was attentive and had decent bedside manner but ended up sending the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. I went back in today to pick up the prescription and the woman at the pharmacy counter was rude. Overall, a miserable experience and I'll

My elderly mother is a patient here. They've always been welcoming from the front counter, the nurses and Dr. Potter. Faster than my Meritas doctor's office that I spend almost 2 hours overall in one visit, sitting and waiting. My mom always feels cared and relieved after her Dr's appointment at KC Care. We greatly appreciate it!

Extremely polite, nice, and genuinely caring. All staff I've met here have been magnificent characters. I tell everyone I can about the services they offer, and know that they'll be in capable, welcoming company.

I've been coming here for YEARS, atleast 10 years by now. This is my favorite clinic. They have been able to diagnose everything from my stomach tumor to a rash break out on my skin. I will forever support this clinic. I love them.

By far the worst experience I ever had. Literally. I had 2 appointments and they were inaccurate both times. Even after going to a different physician, I ended up just switching hospitals. I don’t want to go into detail because it’s personal, but the fact that they prolonged my test results ruined my life!! If I was treated sooner I wouldn’t be in the position I am now.

Going to KC Care has been a nightmare. The only thing I can say in their defense is the problems may be because of a lack of funding. And if this is the reason why, I really hope they get the funding they need, because we need good public health services.
However avoid if you can. My appointments have been missed/scheduled wrong regularly. My medications are rarely refilled on time and often sent to the wrong pharmacy. It is almost impossible to get a hold of my doctor and as a result I go without needed medications. At the time of this writing we are in the middle of a pandemic. But the problems

Great staff. Been an established patient for 2 years. Most PA and dr’s there are not looking down on you and alter the care they give due to addiction or mental health , disability ext... I also use the pharmacy there sometimes I get name brand medicine cheaper then at say CVS. Some of the tech or nurses assistant could be better trained in some basic medical operation of their equipment. Overall I love this place over others that discriminate. The walk-in process to get established in lengthy but after being established and regularly visits it goes quickly and they work with no insurance also

I was in 3 weeks and a day ago and still had not received my results. Today I finally got a call telling me my specimen was never even sent out. This is after weeks of calling and being told my specimen was sent to Truman for lab testing. Now I'm being told that Truman never got my specimen and neither did Lab Core. I'm coming on 2.5 months of dealing with this issue and I thought KC Care was actually going to help me. I specifically asked at my appointment if I needed to do anything else and they said "No." They had the specimen they needed and would have the tests ran with

I wish I had known about the KC CARE Clinic sooner! This place is really awesome. The employees are warm and friendly, and they get you in and out. I went for a TB test on a Wednesday between 9-11AM and returned Friday during the same time; both times I spent less than 45 minutes waiting and being seen.

The only reason I rated 4 stars was because it's difficult getting in contact with someone over the phone to schedule an appointment. They are excellent with walk ins though. I will utilize this resource more often since I don't have insurance.

Just went for a doctor's visit to this clinic today. I couldn't have received better and more thorough care. The staff is amazing. I had a delightful conversation with the first lady who brought me in from the lobby (sorry, I can't remember your name!) while she took my vitals and I shared my symptoms, then Audrey (NP) was absolutely wonderful, talked to me about my symptoms and what she thought it might be, then did a thorough check up. Then Sparkle ... yes, Sparkle! ... came in and irrigated my ears. This girl was entertaining but very professional. Loved them. Wanted to hug all

I am surprised how many people I talk to in Kansas City who don't know about this place. Bring your 2 latest paycheck stubs and a utility bill as proof of income & residence and you will see a doctor by simply donating a whopping $10!

So, what does "see a doctor' mean exactly? It doesn't mean what you think. For $10 you'd think you're going to have a Health Department type experience. Nope! Not even close. This place operates like a normal doctors office. You are not treated like a number here. It's just like going to see your trusted family doctor

Formally KC Free Health Clinic, I have only dealt with KC Care Clinic for the yearly free HIV testing they provide on National HIV testing day. The drive helps to remind people of knowing their status which is probably one of the most important things to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS. After losing a loved one to AIDS related illnesses, this is a very important message for me to spread.

KC Care Clinic offers the rapid response test that produces results within 15 minutes. Along with the HIV testing, they also offer basic health services to people who are unable to pay for these services or
