I had an early beginning in the hospitality industry. My family owned a restaurant in western New York and from youth on, I was bound to the trade. After a U.S. Marine service, I returned to Rochester, New York to open a neighborhood Italian eatery. I worked toward corporate management as a hotel food and beverage manager until becoming the Special Events Manager for a private yacht club in Newport Beach, California.
