If I could give this a place a zero, I would. After eating here, my family and I all got food poisoning; ruining our day. We asked for our food to be well done, and we were given food that was seeped in oil. When we told the waitress about the food, she didn’t offer for it to be remade or anything. She just brought us the check.

We've been coming to Lambertville for years and decided to finally try this place based on the reviews. The good reviews must have been written by the family of the owner. We ordered the combo breakfast. This included french Toast, 2 eggs, fried bacon and half a link of sausage. (Yes you read that right). Plus you pay extra for maple syrup. Really?! Service was poor, waited for an extra plate a long while. Never going back.

When your short staffed and the waitress is running around like crazy- a POLITE explanation would go a long way. Instead, we were barked at by the waitress "I am the only one here, go outside and wait." Ummm, okie. While we were waiting outside, 3 more parties entered, only to be barked at and sent outside. Being polite and providing a quick explanation of the issue is not only a bit more professional, but will keep your customers coming back.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday, my wife and I were the only two patrons at 1:00 o'clock. The food was good, and our waiter was very attentive. The dining room could use a good dusting. The overhead fans were a bit disgusting and need some serious cleaning. Otherwise they were being COVID-19 safe and compliant with all New Jersey requirements.

This place was just what we wanted, breakfast all day. Early afternoon so we shared a burger platter and eggs. Home fries were crispy and great onion flavor. Burger was juicy. Sweet potato fries were great. Pumpernickel bread was unexpected and loved. Service was perfect. Good prices and didn't feel like a Covid depressed dining experience, although all precautions were taken by patrons as well as staff. Thank you. Well done.

We visited on a warm sunny Fall Sunday. The restaurant is small and is operating at 25% capacity for COVID safety. Upon entering the staff was quick to give us a wait time and let us know when enough space wild be open to accommodate us. The indoor space was small, but tables were spaced apart enough for me to feel safe. The avocado breakfast burrito was very generous on the avocado which is vegetarians always appreciate! The eggs Benedict was a bit too liquidy in the hollandaise, but still tasty. Staff and service were prompt, friendly, and were definitely focused on sanitization. Definitely recommend

Strictly speaking on the food, I would highly recommend not ordering the Eggs Benedict - as it's not your traditional Eggs Benedict. The "hollandaise sauce" was not hollandaise. It was a watery butter sauce, where normally you'll have a thicker consistency. The pork roll was just one giant slide of pork roll and whereas 90% of restaurants you go to will have hash browns included, this restaurant wants to up-charge any sides you have, and was not included. The "home fries" they had were also just COVERED in grease and butter.
Cool atmosphere, pretty good hot chocolate

Good breakfast place in Lambertville. We were there overnight for MLK weekend. It wasn't crowded when we were there. The service was quick and efficient and fairly friendly. I had the French toast with seasonal fruit. It was a good sized portion and very fresh but pretty expensive at about $14. My wife had the omelette which she thought was excellent. By the way, they are only open for dinner during a full moon - so like 12-13 times per year so you know that the food will be fresh then. Cheers.

Mad hatter style restaurant which Sits about 50 total. The food was very unique AND delicious. Open 8-3 weekdays (closed Tuesday). Weekends are 9-4. Definitely recommend this spot for breakfast. The waitress, whereas she didn’t say anything negative, her demeanor showed she was not happy we were there.

Cheese steak was sub par.. over cooked chunks of steak with what looked like canned mushrooms. Wife had grilled chicken sandwich on rye.. rye was much larger than the rye.
Waitress was pleasant, interior has a pretty cool vibe. Maybe we should have tried breakfast, as the couple next to us seemed pleased.

Had a quick President's Day brunch here on Monday. Food came out in a snap and was very tasty. Service was quick and cordial. After we finished our meal, a number of other groups came in and it became evident they were a bit short staffed on the holiday. We waited a while for the check but the two girls waiting tables, bussing, AND running food were doing their best to keep things moving and I can't blame them for that at all.
I wanted a fancy Benedict on a croissant and it was absolutely yummy and presented well. Friend got Michael Anne eggs which was equally tasty. Portions were just

Great place for breakfast..I had the crab omelet with avocado, tomato, brie, and spinach. The best eggs ever! There was also a red envelope game where after you open the envelope, it reveals a discount or free meal! We got the 20% off!
This is an awesome place, the help is friendly, and the game was fun. If you are in their email club, you get a complimentary meal on your birthday!

Came for the full moon dinner tonight. Thank God they only do dinner once per month! Server reeked from cigarettes, and her mission on this Saturday night was to get us our food as fast as humanly possible and get us out..
we both ordered the fillet. The steak was tough and took considerable effort to chew! No flavor to any of it. I had polenta as a side. Whatever it was, it wasn't polenta.

Good breakfast/brunch spot. I've been coming here for my whole life. They have a simple menu, but it's enough for brunch. Usually there's a wait to get in because it's so popular, but today we walked right in and the service was quicker than usual.
We got lunch today, but it was pretty disappointing compared to breakfast. Their sweet potato fries were really good, and they used jersey tomatoes, which was great. However, their quesadilla was pretty bad. Flavorless chicken with raw onions and peppers pressed just enough to melt some cheese (not all of it). Their French onion

Good for having breakfast
We were there on 18-August to enjoy the cuteness of new hope and Lambertville and wandering around the town. We crossed this and decided to have lunch here though it is for full day breakfast but they also have a lunch menu.
It is an okay size restaurant running by a beautiful lady. I was there with my wife and got a window side table. The menu was full of breakfast options and limited lunch items. But I would recommend having omelet here cause that's the specialty here. They have 10-12 options in an omelet and nothing can go wrong if you chose this. I chose quesadillas

I was not thrilled .. The place felt a little like it needed a scrubbing ... I ordered an omelet and asked for egg whites but they would
Not make it for me they would only make it with egg beaters ... It was just not good and if u make eggs why can't u give me whites ??? I don't even care if u charge me extra for the 2 seconds it would take u to separate the yolks from the whites ... I would not go back when there are many other places in the area to choose from

I have been here twice and both times I come in feeling like, "oh this place is so cute!" and leave feeling like, "oh, that was cute...." I like the location, on a nice day it gives you a chance to walk around as you wait for your table and it is also located around the block from a parking lot which is always awesome in this area.
The first time I came, I went all out and got a fancy crab, avocado omlette that was just ok. It sounded absolutely wonderful, but it came out and it was just bland, no salt or pepper and not umpf. It needed maybe a sauce to really make it all
