This is a lovely designer consignment boutique in the heart of Old Town. I LOVE this type of store and buy most of my clothing second hand and always find the thrift/resale/consignment stores when travelling. While I will continue to come here every time I am in Old Town (pretty frequently as I have family in the area) to check out the selection the pricing is a little steep for second hand.

Great customer service, clean. Prices seemed high to me for consignment clothing.

I stumbled upon this gem while heading to the bank across the street. The 2 women, Molly and unfortunately I'm blanking on the other name were fabulous. They made me feel as though I'd been shopping there for years! The treasures found totaled less than $100 that included an Armani Collection jacket!!! Highly recommend a trip to this shop.

Doors locked with staff inside during open business hours. It was an odd seen out front as multiple people tried to walk in a failed. Thankful the trip wasn't a total waste: the gelato shop next door is adorable and yummy.

I was very happy to stumble upon this boutique, while visiting Old Town Alexandria. I was sipping some coffe coffee at a cafe next store, glanced at their outdoor sale and went inside.Inside- - a plethora of treasures- multi colored metallic thread scarf- check-adorable red coach mini tote- check - faux fur trim wool gloves- check.
The next day more goodies- pashmina teal scarf, grey Banana Republic sweater, black wrap day dress-
I'm glad I don't live there cause I could shop there every day! Great finds and very low prices!

They have so many nice pieces here. The shoes are great, bags, even hats. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will shop here often.

I was not welcome from the very beginning. I walked in with my friends and the atmosphere was very tense. We looked around for a minute until I had to use the restroom. I used the restroom and came out the room to find out my friends were gone. The woman said nothing to me and when I went out to find my friends they frantically told me how the woman had yelled at them for waiting for me. My friends did nothing wrong and she got upset at them for no reason. She even accused one of my friends of stealing and said that we had been in there before when we were there on a class trip from another state

I just visited Twist Boutique and met the owner Kristen Moore. The greeter and Ambassador was a beautiful well behaved lab. I bought a wonderful pair of flats.

I have been a longtime customer of Old Town Consigments, although I moved away quite some time ago. Last Winter I was excited to learn of a couple new establishments and have now visited Twist 3 times from January up to this weekend. My first impression was that at first glance it looked like a thrift store, which is a different, simplified expectation. American Boutique caught my eye with the sign, but inside was not what I expected and left with nothing, as the overload of things to look through amidst the chaos perhaps caught me on a bad day. I returned in June and was astounded at the transformation

Lovely store and cute finds from Jimmy Choo & Kate Spade to Ann Taylor & Talbots. Great source and prices for professional and evening wear. Will return often!

Don't consign here. While this store had a ton of promise and is in an awesome location, they are incredibly unorganized and unresponsive. The store closes at random hours and I had to send tons of emails and stop in the shop multiple times to finally talk to someone in person to discuss how they lost some of my items. Not worth the hassle.

I totally found this shop by chance as I was at The Farmer's Market. It was a treasure trove of wonderful things. I could have bought so much as everything I tried on just happened to be my size. Kristen was so nice and friendly. I could have stayed there all day. Please check out this little gem in Old Town. You may find just the thing you didn't know you were looking for.

This is probably the best consignment shop in Old Town Alexandria. So don't go. Like please don't go, I want it to stay a secret so I can reap the benefits of this little hole in the wall shop.

Twist has so many cute pieces at affordable prices! I always find what I am looking for. Make sure you visit frequently as Twist gets new items everyday!
