At Cape Henlopen Dermatology our mission is to provide effective treatment for diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Cape Henlopen Dermatology provides patients with a huge range of dermatology medical services. Services
Dr. Stickler started the practice in 1991. The practice was originally located adjacent to the Beebe Medical Center Hospital. One year later a new facility was finished and the practice moved North on Route 1 just past Red Mill Pond. The practice relocated five years later to our present location, which we have been at for over 15 years.
Children need special care when they see a dermatologist. We at Cape Henlopen Dermatology make sure that children have a positive experience and we ensure that they will feel safe and confident when visiting again. Our staff provides comprehensive state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment for children with various types of acute and chronic skin disorders.
Summer is fast approaching. As sandal and flip-flop weather brings regular trips to the nail salon for pedicures, I wanted to give some tips on nail health. Watch the video from the AAD below for tips on nail salon safety. In addition to the great tips found in the video, I instruct my patients to keep an eye on their fingernails and toenails for new growths or discolorations of the nail plate or skin around the nails.

Appointments got quicker. Stickler rushed through and ran in and out of the exam room, spending 2 minutes total for my entire Appointment.
I went to another doctor for a second opinion. She removed over 40 lesions! Fired Stickler today. Never returning.
This is the second time I fired him, manager called me and begged me to return after the first. It's all about the money. I'm done.

Update: The office manager called to apologize, acknowledging that I was treated inappropriately, saying I should never have been denied service, that according to the check-in time stamp I was not late in keeping with their guidelines, and offered me the next available appointment. I am glad the practice accepted responsibility and worked quickly towards a solution. 1st post: Despite an empty waiting room, my appointment was canceled after I was checked in and filled out my paperwork. I was 5 minutes late, but I also waited for another patient to go through the check in process and then waited

I was very pleased with the care I got . I saw Mary Ann a PA as well as Dr Stickler They were both very pleasant and thorough .It was the first time I had a
scalp biopsy . It was over before I knew it ! That put an end to all the wondering of the irritating rash I would occasionally get , and with the topical medicine a big relief . I have been an RN for many years and from check in to check out and a results call of the biopsy , excellent medical care .

I've been seeing Dr O'Reilly for 2 years now and couldn't be happier with her treatment. She is very pleasant, thorough and does not rush at all. At my most recent exam she spotted an extremely small dot that she thought looked suspicious. After the biopsy it was found to be a Stage 1 melanoma ! I thank God that she was so complete in my exam since I would never had thought it was anything.
I would highly recommend Dr. O'Reilly and her nurses.

I was pleased to be able to make an appointment for a checkup within the week. The staff was welcoming and helpful. I was seen by Paige, the PA. She was on time, thorough and professional. She spent time with me to answer my questions and provided me with additional information. Dr. Strickler also checked me. I recommend this practice

I have been very pleased with the excellent care I have received at Cape Dermatology. Dr. O’Reilly and PA Paige Venables have impressed me with their knowledge, skills and demeanor. They are professional as well as kind.
