Our textile history goes back four generations. Starting from desert traders in old Indian cities, our rugs now come to you from the tradition of our history with a fusion of innovation, color and heritage. Our family-owned U.S. company was founded in 1998 by our founder, Junior Gupta.
Originally known as J Quilts, we manufactured and wholesaled primarily handcrafted quilts in country motifs from our factories in India with a small selection of matching braided rugs.In 2004, we re-focused by dropping the quilt line and expanding our handcrafted braided rug and accessories under the Homespice Decor product line.

At Homespice, we love classic American rugs and accessories, and we respect the traditions of high quality handcrafted work. From the original designs all the way through the production process this love for design and craft is our first priority. We produce rugs with amazing patterns and detail.
