Live near by and happy our community has a store that cares about the customers. Always has staff at the deli and check out, quality meat department and always has what I need. I'm the lucky one!

Bought beautiful delmonico steaks that were tender and had excellent flavor. Very friendly and efficient service. They even sold sauce from the little Venice restaurant in Binghamton which is one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

Lunch time arrived while we were were close to Spera's. A nice market that also includes a deli and meat market. Shelves are stocked with pastas, sauces and anything you'd need to make a nice dinner. Take a number at the deli counter to get your sub/sandwich made. All lunch meats are sliced to order. There are multiple choices of breads to get your sandwich on including Portugese rolls. Roast beef is generally a home made beef, but they were out. SO and I got a large and small subs (respectively) of Boar's Head roast beef. Friday's they have fish fry

This place is awesome, great prices and quick service. They bake their bread fresh in house, and when you order a sandwich they slice the meat fresh in front of you. There is a cold case with tons of options in it, the chicken salad is excellent. The hot case has 10-15 options daily, I'm a big fan of the Buffalo boneless wings. There are also grab and go options that are prepackaged including house made take/bake pizzas, garlic bread, and sausage rolls that are incredible. 100% the spot to stop for a quick lunch before you go back to the office.

Native Italian Anthony Spera introduced Spera's Meat Market to the local Cicero community on February 2, 1982. Inspired by traditional Italian butcher shops he visited as a child and supported by a loyal following, three generations later Spera's Meat Market continues to grow.

I've only been going to Speras for a couple years, as a friend who lives close introduced me to them. I always enjoy going and find them to have a decent selection of freshly butchered Meat. They carry local favorites such as Bucks Seasoning, Pastas Tomato Oil and Columbus Bakery bread as well.

This was our first visit to Spera's. We ordered 2 items off the menu but neither was available, so we kept trying. So, we ended up with a hamburger and sausage sub. Why did we bother going to a meat market? Plus, the onions & peppers were burnt & greasy; I had a stomach ache 1 hour later. Today I bought Gianelli and made it on the grille. That convinced me to never bother with Spera's again. Once and done. I wish I took a photo of the sub.

I shop here a couple times per week and have never been disappointed. everything is clean and perfect. their sandwiches are the best in syracuse, there really isn't anything close to their level. then you look at their meat selection/prices and it'll blow your mind. next, the ricotta cookies... they're a life changing experience. finally, their bacon. try their bacon, you'll weep happy, breakfast tears of joy. i sincerely can't say enough positive things about this place, it's my favorite part of living in cicero.

Love speras cicero, had to check it out. Counter up front displays meat only when I went in. So not sure if you just have to look at a menu or really what else they had available. Kind of stinks not being able to see the delicious food. The store is nice and has some coolers up front, most important steaks were on point, as always.

Awesome choice, very nice staff. The loin burgers are so good, we try to get them every Saturday. And the Italian bread is one of my favorites in the area.

This Saturday October 31st my witch had her birthday. I wanted to do something special for her so Instead of going to a restaurant I bought 8 0z fillets from Spera's, friends came over and we reversed seared the fillets and finished them on the grill.
They were one of the most tender and flavorful fillets I have ever had. Thank you Spera's my witch will not be casting any spells on you.

Ive always heard good things about this place but never tried it until the Covid 19 pandemic as I had no need Aldi's handled my needs. Then Covid and Walmart and aldi couldn't get and keep meat and I was left scrambling so I checked this place out hoping. JACKPOT

Always stocked with the most tender juicy amazing meats. The ground beef is amazing makes killer burgers and meatloafs and they say it's 80/20 but that's news to me very little fat but so flavorful. Could not recommend this place more. Friendly staff, great meat, in a great location. I wish I still lived in Manlius, so I was a little closer, but it's well worth the drive to support this business.

A little disappointed overall. Came here for the first time to get my favorite pork seasoning (Nauti tiki). Was unimpressed with the overall selection of the meats. I bought ears of "fresh picked" corn to find half of them moldy and rotten at the top. First and last visit.

The meats here are phenomenal. They had giant hamburger rolls so naturally, I had to go for it. Bought the best ground chuck I've ever eaten and made hamburgers bigger than any restaurant in the area and they did not disappoint. The hamburger is now a request from my daughter when she comes home on college breaks. The wife bought me a new ginormous grill so I'll be at Spera's to stock up on meats! They also have a great selection of products that you don't normally see in other grocery stores in the area, along with their own brand of goods made right in-store.

Stopped in for a pound of chicken riggies after reading someone on Syracuse.com say this place was the best they had. I was not impressed. I think there was 2-3 small pieces of chicken in the pound I got and it the riggies were soaked in grease. Would not eat them again, but I am giving 3 stars because I liked the selection of items the place had overall.

Best meats anywhere. Best lunch meat, sells real Boarshead. There premade hot foods are what I can't stay away from, I get Chicken Wings from there every other day. They make GREAT Breakfast pizza, scalp potatoes and ham, chicken rig-ees, etc etc.... We get our own pizza from there and make it ourselves. If you go to the deli make sure you take a number no matter what (even if you called with a pre-order). They make great subs and sandwiches. Also they make their own cookies, I shouldn't say this because you will get addicted to them.......

This really is the best

Spera's is a gem. It is equal parts grocery market, butcher, and deli - a jack of all trades that successfully masters them all. During the lunchtime rush the deli counter is both well staffed and well stocked. They generally have two soups available, about a dozen cold salads, a bunch of hot specials, and a full line of Boar's Head meats for subs and sandwiches.

Highlights for me are the Italian Wedding soup, the white Mac n' cheese, fried haddock, boneless wings, and the tortellini pasta salad.

The lady who took the order over the phone had a bad day, being rather gruff. The Deli boy at Pick Up was friendly especially considering it was a very busy time of day. Fast checkout, the young blonde girl had zero personality, did not ask if I found everything I was looking for, which I didn't as it was my first time there. Clean store, isles swept, shelves very neat. Display cases inviting. I will order the Take Out again! And I'll try to look around on a less busy evening! Thank you for a Very Good

I have to pass by quite a few supermarkets and other food stores to travel to this location. Why? I simply feel it is very worth while. I am very pleased with the variety, freshness, and value of their products along with the very pleasant and helpful employees. The store is a deli, butcher shop and small supermarket packed with delicious goods all nicely presented in a very clean environment.

There aren't enough stars on Yelp! to summarize how I feel about this place. Best subs and sandwiches this side of the Mississippi. The salads, the freshly sliced Boar's Head cold cuts, the hot food case. I'm still only talking about the Deli.

Great Meat market and small market located in Cicero, NY. They had a nice selection of regional favorites, made in house and also known local brands. Hubby was thrilled to have German hotdogs and snappy dogs (Coney's) at the family BBQ. We also enjoyed their in-house ground sirloin (95% lean) hamburgers, their in-house hot Italian sausage as well as their sweet Italian sausage. The family raved.
