This company is AMAZING. I purchased their 12 channel amp for my home sound system about 12 (?) years ago. Since then, it's had two lightning strikes, the most recently last year (2021), which knocked out several channels. As before, I sent it back for repairs and as before, they did not charge me ONE DIME for repairs (even updated some components!!), nor return shipping!!!!!!! It's hard to believe in this day and age that a company would stand behind their products in this way, BUT THEY DO!! I am beside IMPRESSED. GREAT JOB HTD.

Not happy with the equipments i have been using for more then 2 years for our costumes, ( restaurants and houses) after a while the app stopped working. Than we went through reset process couple of times. Works for some time than you can’t control volumes for different zones.
There is not any streamer built in, or any AirPlay mode on this amp. We need to by a separate Audio Cast.
I’m giving 2 stars because they costumer support is helpful.
Looking for a different brand/solution.

Over 15 years ago I bought my home theater speaker system from HTD. 4 in wall speakers, 2 wall mount speaker cabinets, a subwoofer cabinet and speaker wire. Everything installed easily and has worked flawlessly ever since. Recently I purchased a larger TV and had to mount my on wall speaker cabinets in a different orientation. I needed additional mounting brackets. I called HTD and even tho the model was discontinued, they checked their warehouse and found the brackets. Then they sent them at no cost.
THAT goes beyond Customer Service!

Had my system a year now. Install took a weekend. Getting use to the app about 5 hours.
The speakers are amazing. Everyone loves my whole house system and how easy it is to use and change sound sources. If you want an affordable system with all the bells and whistles htd is the way to go.
I installed 6 rooms and incorporated a 7.1 surround system. If I can do it anyone can! I literally tell everyone about it. It’s the favorite thing in my house.

I had a fantastic experience working with Chris to design and purchase my whole home system. I have a 5000' home with pre-wiring into each room and speakers installed. Chris spent a significant amount of time with me talking about options and ways to set up the system. He even recommended the 1240 amp for my needs and saved me about $600 from what I was going to purchase. Items shipped same day. I'll update once I set the system up.

As I recall, my experience with HTD goes back to 2000. At that time I purchased a MA1235 amp and 4 pairs of speakers. In 2004 I moved into a bigger place and added a few more pairs of HTD in-ceiling and in-wall speakers. They are all working as well as when I purchased them, including the speakers in all 3 bathrooms. I made another purchase today to replace my outdoor BOSE speakers. I will be renovating my home soon and I will be purchasing two more amps, one 12 channel and a 4 channel and two pairs of in-ceiling speakers. UPDATE: they fully reimbursed me after speaking with them and realizing I had shipped it back in the original packaging. Now they have been hassling me to change my review. It might just be easier to go to your favorite electronics store to purchase speakers.
I ordered a level 3 center channel speaker, once I received it we realized it was too larger for our space and decided to send it back. They sent a shipping label and I returned it. When they received it they said it was damaged and were not going to be able to refund the full amount. I explained the speaker was not out of the box for more

I've had an HTD system for 8 years. Recently my system developed a small back ground noise ( unfortunately i keep it in an unventilated cabinet - so probably to be expected). I spoke with technical assistance and they identified what had to be serviced.
I returned my controller for a repair and Chris had me up and running again in no time. Great customer service and my system is rocking strong even after 8 years.
I took the time up upgrade the gateway and love the new interface for the volume and zone control. Awesome system - i wouldn't hesitate to recommend HTD to anyone who is considering

Spent $6000+ on a whole home system, Lync 12 controller and 2 amps. In theory the system works great, but since Day 1 there has been a problem with audio override muting the entire system. We've tried to get support but they seem mostly uninterested and don't believe there really is a problem. Even ringing the doorbell (on their doorbell controller) results in a loss of all audio until you go around and crank volumes WAY UP to get the zones to unmute. I like the system, but I wish they'd support it better. :(

Taking me through the process with recommendations design feedback, and layout suggestions. Shortly thereafter I received my estimate including all needed equipment.
