Original Time Capsule

Founded in 1992 by Jeff McCarty, The Original Time Capsule Company was located in beautiful Greenfield, Indiana, just 20 minutes east of Indianapolis. Jeff's love for fine art, graphics design, and memorabilia inspired him to create our beautiful gifts. He has one for every year of his life!. As the years went on, Jeff decided to explore other business interests and sold the company in 2005.

We recommend that you wait at least 16 years before allowing your child to open his or her Baby's Time Capsule. This time frame will ensure that a variety of change has taken place-and that your child will be old enough to appreciate the effort that has gone into preparing it as well as the intrinsic value of its contents.

A Decorative Time Capsule, like ours is meant to be displayed and not buried. These are great conversation pieces in which you store your mementos and memorabilia in for 10 to 20 years. When your designated open date arrives in the future, you gather your friends and family around and open your time capsule to reminisce and re-live that special time in your life all over again.
