After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky in 1993, Sam had a career in Sales & Marketing for over 10 years before affiliating with Allstate Insurance in April of 2004. Starting off as a brand new agent, he grew his business to over 600 customers in only 6 years.
Independent Agents of Kentucky was originally founded in 1958 by Barry Easley. Joe Borsch joined Mr. Easley during the 1970's and they operated under the name Easley & Borsch. Mr. Easley retired and sold out to Mr. Borsch in the late 1980's. Around that time, the company acquired a small agency with the name Independent Agents of Bardstown and Mr. Borsch changed the company name to Independent Agents of Louisville.
Because independent insurance agencies, like Independent Agents of Kentucky, represent a number of different insurance companies, and can compare coverage and prices to find the best possible value for your individual circumstances. Sam is the most conscience auto/home insurance agent I have ever had. I was the victim of a hit and run accident recently, and his efforts in getting the police to pursue the other driver and assume responsibility were paramount to the recovery of my deductible to get my car fixed. I have since switched all of my business over to him at Independent Agents of KY because of his excellent customer service!

My agent, Steve, has been great to work with. I believe he honestly has my best interests in mind when we discuss insurance options. I don't feel he is trying to "sell" me product. He truly seems interested in doing what is best for my family and me. He gives me both the pros and the cons of each option and leaves the decision to me. He has been my agent for over 20 years and I would highly recommend him to anyone else.
