The idea for Smockingbird's came from the inspiration of a friend's gift shop in Kansas City, where Virginia was born and raised, and her love of smocking, which she had learned when expecting the first of her two sons.Having moved to the small town of Fulton and having been charmed by small town life, Virginia decided to follow her dream and Smockingbird's was born.

Nora Fleming's interchangeable serving ware allows you to have one platter for every occasion. Each of the platters or bases come with a hole that allows the insertion of a decorative mini. There is a mini for every occasion. Bases range from ivory stoneware and melamine to Made in the USA wood products.

Their Timeless Collection come in vintage style clear glass jars with pretty patterns on them.
