We are a small, public high school for students living in the Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco School Districts. At Delta, students are brought together from a variety of backgrounds to create one collaborative community. The faculty is dedicated to creating a highly-personalized, open, and trusting learning environment for all students and their families.

Students at Delta are supported by teachers, advisors, and mentors that will network them into the local STEM community and beyond. The elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are woven into every subject at Delta High School. The study of English Language Arts and Social Studies are integrated with STEM subjects.
Services
Are you interested in Delta HS for the Class of 2026 or beyond? The information below will share a little bit about what our process looks like from this past year. You should expect applications to open up each year in mid-December. Thank you to everyone who applied for the Class of 2025--our application return rate was absolutely amazing and we appreciate the strong interest in our program!
At this time we expect to be using a schedule similar to the end of the 2020-2021 school year with two lunches built in to support distancing while students are eating and unmasked. This is the draft schedule below. Alternate schedules will be introduced as needed for any weeks with extra events or days off.
Students who plan to drive to school must have a current Delta Parking Application on file with the main office. Proof of license and insurance will also be required. Students will be able to park the first week of school without penalty. 1 REVIEW the 1:1 Student-Parent Agreement Form. Please note that insurance is provided at NO COST to all families this year.
Delta High School is committed to ensuring all students have equitable access to opportunities to grow and explore, that we provide families the best educational options for their children and that we hire and retain highly-qualified, diverse, and dedicated staff. For information regarding Federal & State Safeguards with your home school district, please refer to your district's website.
Parents of Delta Students (PoDS) is our parent group at Delta High School. Our goal is to enhance the student's educational experiences, and provide resources for staff and students of Delta through volunteer and financial support. All parents are automatically members of PoDS--there are no dues. PoDS organizes and supports the following activities at Delta.

Some teachers are great, some aren't at all. No choices for classes. No sports, and no library. The parking lot is bigger than it's own school it feels like. It feels less of a STEM school and more of an alternative. There are clubs, although compared to other high schools it falls short. If you dislike doing all your work online, that's all they do for this school so be prepared. The policies that have to do with student harassment against teachers is non-existent, I feel bad for the teachers as it seems they'll be reprimanded for punishing students at all.

I am graduating this year and my experience has been exemplary! From the state-of-the-art professionals to the STEM-based curriculum, Delta has taught me valuable academic and professional skills I would not learn anywhere else. I highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to pursue a STEM major or who just aren't sure yet.

My son attends Delta. It has been the best experience. His grades have gone way, way up due to the smaller class sizes and more individual attention. He struggled all through school, but gets to Delta and starts becoming an honors student. Thank you to all the great teachers and staff at this superb STEM school.

Do you guys have football. I have searched the web and have found nothing. I am most likely going to your guys school and I've wondering if you guys have football and when it starts and where.
Yes I know I'm a girl but I've gotten told by my coaches that I'm really good and i'd love to join but can't find anything in your websites that have sports in it. If you have anything on the football thing text me. THX

I would rate 5 stars, but I did have this incident:
One day, I arrived at the school in the morning. I met this super cool kid who showed me a cactus with a cute little cat head, a "Catus", if I'm not mistaken. I asked him if it was the school mascot (as the school has to "think differently"), but he said no, there was no mascot. I asked him about the sports situation, what Delta students named themselves in games, but he said there were no sports but they'd probably call themselves the triangles as the student store has jerseys saying "triangles".
No mascot?
No sports?

This a horrible website. Has not been updated in forever. You'd think someone in this stem school could do this. Pretty pictures that's about all

Between the cutting-edge green architecture of the building, the highly trained teaching professionals, and the free kittens handed out to students on every third Thursday, this is a great school. Oh, the world-class STEM education part is OK, too.

I am a 10th grade student at Delta high School! This is Washington State's first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) school. The education is of the highest quality. Delta is ranked as one of the best schools in Washington State.
