Restoring a classic automobile and repairing your grocery get'er are two very different things. But in many ways very similar. When a classic car arrives we analyze what needs done and begin the search for parts in many cases. That varies with the project of course. But the timeline on a classic restoration is dependent on the availability of parts.
We do more than make them look nice. You can rest assured that the best parts and components are used to bring your vehicle back to factory specifications. That involves getting in and inspecting where the damage is and determining what needs replaced or repaired. As we go through the process we take a lot of photos.
Carl McCulloch and his crew are no strangers to high standards required for a top show car. They have restored cars that have gone for auction in the mid six figure mark! There isn't room for error, everything must be perfect. They were asked to do the body work and paint work for this classic 1967 Mustang that will be at Autorama, just a few months away!

The guys at MMC go above an beyond! I own a 2016 ram rebel with brilliant black crystal paint. I’ve had another shop paint it in the past and was very disappointed in the matching.they went cheap an didn’t add the sparkle that the paint is known for But Carl an his amazing team nailed the paint on the truck!!!

Carl and his crew were so awesome. He went above and beyond to get my parts. He had to go to many different places to go find all of them. My car is beautiful! I would recommend this company for any work anyone needs done on t.v.their vehicle! Carl is honest and trustworthy

Someone hit me while I was taking my son to school. I drive a Chevy Silverado. The insurance company told me that the only thing that needed to be done was that my front bumper would need to be buffed out and repainted. I also took it to Randy Wise (where I bought the truck) and they said the same thing. I took it to MMC and the gentleman, Carl, there told me that he would take the bumper off and inspect to make sure that nothing else was wrong. Well, he was right to do it. Almost $4500 in parts and labor later, everything on my truck has been fixed. The parts are all certified GM parts as well

Carl, owner of MMC is one of the most un-loyal shiesty business owners that will do whatever it takes to make a $1 off the elderly people of Davison/lapeer. doesn't pay his employees, writes up bids that are x2/x3 of what an insurance adjuster will quote. do not give this guy your business. makes sense why he has a criminal track record of selling plps cars out from underneath them.

Fantastic experience here.
After my car was randomly backed into in a parking lot, I took it over to Carl to get it squared away. On the initial accident I seriously doubted it was possible to just “bump out” the damage, I assumed I would have to get a new door. Carl assured me he could bump it out, so I took his word for it. Dropped it off on a Tuesday, and by Friday he let me know that it was done! I was definitely expecting at least a week for it to be done. So I picked it up Saturday and, lo and behold, not only was he able to bump out the damage so that you can’t even tell anything
