Heather Gates PA-C received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
Mohs surgery - offers the highest cure rate and highest potential for recovery of all treatments of skin cancer- even if the skin cancer has been previously treated. The cure rates are up to 99% even if other forms of treatment have failed. For four years I have been to so many dermatologists and nobody could figure out what the problem was. They started to tell me that it was all mental. But my question was how could it be mental if it all stops anytime I am on steroids? Dr. Knapp came in and went through my drug list with me asking why I was taking each of the drugs. When we got to… one of them, it gave him a big clue as to what was going on. He upped the level of one of my prescriptions and the problem has basically disappeared. I do have another problem and he said don’t worry. We’re going to work our way through

It had been several years since I had a full body exam for skin cancer and there was concern about some spots. Heather Gates was complete with the exam. Had some spots “Freezed off” and a biopsy done. The staff were extremely pleasant to work with when checking in or out. Helped with using the online daily check-in form. I have already suggested to use them to other individuals. Will be using them in the future!
