South Florida Gymnastics has been dedicated to the Bradenton and Sarasota area since our start as Culbertson's Gymnastics back in the '70s and has been established as SFG for over 20 years! We are proud to offer a variety of different programs including gymnastics classes, tumbling classes, circus classes, both USAG and AAU competitive Women's gymnastics teams, and a traveling Circus Performance team!

Services
How old does my child have to be? Participants must be between 5 and 13 years old. What if my child has never done gymnastics? This is a great way for all children to stay active! Whether your child has never done gymnastics before or is currently competing, we will make sure they have a fun day in the gym!
Beginner gymnastics classes are for girls ages 6 to 17 years who are looking to learn the basics of gymnastics including terms, skills, strength, and flexibility. During each hour long class, participants will visit a variety of events including but not limited to vault, bars, beam, and floor, The cost is $93.00 per month which includes one class per week.
Our Beginner Tumbling classes are co-ed classes for participants ages 6 to 17 years. This class is designed to introduce students to basic tumbling skills using our floor exercise, mini trampoline, and tumbling trampoline, as well as visiting gymnastics equipment to help with strength and flexibility needed to progress in tumbling.
While we are relatively new at SFG, my girls and I have received nothing but love and support over the past four years. Top notch coaching, staff, and facility. My daughters are improving and growing fast because of the encouragement, instruction, and push. The coaches have really pushed my girls to the next level to reach their full abilities.

I started working here about 6 months ago and the environment is truly unmatched! These coaches not only care about your child getting better, but we also care about them on a personal level. In the gymnastics world it is really hard to find coaches who are actually in it for the children and I think I finally found a place that is. You can tell all the kids love it here by the way their face lights up when they see their coach walk in. The preschool program is my absolute favorite as these kids are being taught many other things other than just gymnastics. Our pre-school program is directed to

I started as a toddler here and did their competitive gymnastics program. I am now a full time employee and enjoy working here. My kids love the teachers and I’ve noticed how strong my preschooler has gotten.
The management has been very professional and has always been flexible and thoughtful with their policies.
This place values being family oriented and kids happiness while enjoying the sport.

Great coaches and facility but most parents don't wear a mask while watching their kids and some don't respect social distance among those who ARE wearing a mask.
South Florida has a 'mask recommended' policy on the door for the adults which I think should be mask required until the CDC says it's ok since parents are in a rather small indoor space.

South Florida Gymnastics is the most awesome gym for my kids. My experiences with their staff are nothing short of exceptional. Kim Friday, the director, has dedicated her entire life to gymnastics and is also a highly respected judge in the gymnastics community. She is very considerate of all the children's needs and their policies are as fair as any in the business. My kids have been in gymnastics for many years and SFGC has an outstanding record. The parents at SFGC are all glad one wacko disgruntled parent is gone. My kids love SFGC and all their staff. They are by far the best in the business
