Sometimes when a hard drive is damaged or corrupted, special procedures are implemented in order to access and secure the data that is saved in it. In addition to this, Mac & PC Guys can attempt to retrieve data from a hard drive that was erased or formatted (additional charges my apply to cover advanced lab fees).

Very professional, I got a virus removed the same day for $59 when Best Buy Geek Squad quoted me $199 for a service that might take up to 2 Weeks. The best repair shop I have ever dealt with, very fast (same day) and price is very reasonable. Their final decision was that it was more economical to purchase a new computer rather than fix the old one.

I am glad that I have found a reputable, and most importantly, an honest computer repair shop. I have a Mac & a PC and surely both computers decided not to cooperate.
I took my computers to the shop and Mohammed very quickly assessed the issue and advised solutions.

Brought in a Seagate external 5tb drive for repair or data recovery. After checking it out, drive could not be repaired, data recovery very expensive. The manager told me to try Seagate and see if they would recover the data. I had an extended warranty that had run out 4 years ago (never got a warning from Seagate it was up). Called Seagate, they said they wouldn't recover the data, take it to a 3rd party, probably $1500. He then asked how his performance was on scale of 1-10. I said 0 since it was no help to me. He asked me to wait 2 minutes, got back on and offered to recover the data free

PC Laptop fried during MS update. I had Geek Squad service plan and took laptop to them. Geeksquad was unable to retrieve any data from hard drive, and it took 3 days to determine that. I left my computer and the old hard drive whose content Geek squad could not retrieve with Mac and PC guys. Next day ALL the data was retrieved!!!
Saved a HUGE amount of time for me. I wont go anywhere else. service is great, knowledge of computer hard and software superior to any experience I have had anywhere.

These guys are awesome. Very upfront with their pricing and exactly what their services entail. I needed a pair of cooling fans replaced in my laptop due to overheating, and once these guys ordered the right parts and they arrived a few days later, they installed them within an hour and a half window. And they provide you with a 6 month warranty on any parts they replace. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for courteous, fast, and quality service.

5 stars -- I was helping a family member with a computer issue remotely (I live in California) and managed to get her windows 10 laptop into a no-boot situation. The guys at the shop were awesome, worked with me over the phone to diagnose the problem, and successfully recovered her data and did a clean install of windows when it became apparent it wasn't possible to fix the existing OS.
Went above and beyond restoring her data and configuring the new install, and the bill at the end was ~50% of what I was expecting. Highly recommended.

Stopped in today & Ahmed was so knowledgeable. He was kind enough to install an additional hard drive for me in less than an hour. He saved the school vacation from being a total bust in my teens eyes. Amazing team! Certain keys on my laptop weren't working, making me unable to do work for grad school. I took it to Best Buy at first and they said that it would take 6-8 weeks to repair (sending it to their HQ, diagnosing the issue, seeing if they part, and shipping it back). I took it to the Mac and PC Guys and they were able to fix it within a day! Incredibly smart team that values connections with their customers and top quality service. Cannot recommend them enough!

I highly recommend bringing your Apple products here for repair. Mohammed is personable and saved me $550.00 to repair my MacBook Air. He clearly communicated what was wrong with my computer, ordered the part and thoroughly repaired it within 3 days. Apple and MicroCenter charged a mandatory price of around 800.00 and that was without doing a detailed diagnostic or cleaning. Crazy, right?! Just go to Mac & PC Guys for that old skool traditional customer service.

Computer problems are never fun and I needed a battery delivered to his store for immediate installation for work purposes. Mohammed was very responsive and great to work with. He said someone needed to open the hard drive to look at it and see what was wrong - and that I needed a professional. NOT the "Geek Squad" or any other repair people in big stores. They are not necessarily PC or Mac experts.

My MacBook shutdown one day a few months ago and had that dreadful flashing folder sign in the screen. I googled a bunch of stuff and tried everything they suggested to run my last update but it wouldn't work. I looked on yelp to find a good and affordable place to try and fix the issue.
