When you have water damage or standing water that needs removed, you must take immediate action. The longer the water is left standing with your structure soaking, the more the water and its potential contaminants penetrate the materials. Higher levels of saturation mean longer drying times, and the more time elapses, the less likely it will be that we can save items.

Given the right conditions, temperature, moisture, and an organic food source of some kind, mold can take hold within 48 hrs, and as long as the conditions that allowed it to grow are present, it will continue to spread.

In fact, using our system of drying, we can dry just about anything, including carpet and pad, drywall, wood floors, concrete, and tile, provided that the water source was category 1 and the materials have not been saturated for an extended period of time.

Jaycob and his team were fantastic. They came out right away, had fair prices, were respectful, helpful, and did a great job drying out the water from a water heater break. He also recommended a good plumber who replaced the water heater for us on the weekend and offered a fair price. I hope I never have a reason to need to call again but they would be my first call in the future if I did need more water mitigation help. Also Jaycob called to check I was happy with all my service. Highly recommend them.

I can't begin to express how great Rico, Jaycob and the other workers were during this frustrating time. A bad leak in the kitchen hidden behind walls led to a massive mold problem. Home insurance recommended 1st Response. They were amazing.
Great communication all the way through... came everyday at 8am promptly till the afternoon... until the mold and demolition was resolved. Kept everything as clean as possible so dust wouldn't disperse to the rest of the home.
While losing the entire kitchen, bathroom and half of a bedroom is upsetting, 1st response made things a lot less

My rental property had a water leak and was flooded. Jaycob and the First Response Team were amazing.

Unfortunately we had 2 upstairs bathrooms develop leaks in the main drain pipes. Insurance covered one but denied the other...go figure? Anyway, Matt from 1st Response was a wonderful help to us. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done every step of the way. The damage was pretty extensive and of course, disturbing. Matt made the situation tolerable with his helpful, sympathetic yet professional attitude. This company was constantly in communication with us ,was very responsive and showed up almost exactly when they said they would. I highly recommend 1st Response.

In mid-February we had a dishwasher catch fire with resultant smoke/soot damage to nearly our entire house. The fire department sprayed chemicals throughout the kitchen in order to contain the fire. Subsequently nearly the entire contents of our house had to be removed and cleaned and/or restored while six weeks of reconstruction was undertaken to repair the house.
The morning after the fire we interviewed several restoration companies (including Servpro), but we ultimately decided to go with 1st Response. Dan, the on-site foreman for 1st Response, couldn't have been more professional, amicable

This company is the only one I would recommend using when it comes to mold remediation. I was left to take care of a mold issue in a condo of my mothers while she was out of town, and the staff at 1st response went above and beyond in making my experience as easy as possible. Jaycob was exceptional, he did many tasks that he did not need to do such as outlining for me exactly what needed to be done next and who needed to be contacted. The company kept in contact via email or phone whenever I needed to speak with them and provided an excellent experience all around. The work they did looks wonderful
