Maryland Hearing Aid Service Eastern Shore was established in 1997. When we decided that we needed to provide the people of Kent Island and the surrounding area's with a full service hearing care facility. This would allow our residents of Queen Annes county to have a local facility and not have to travel over the bay bridge for their hearing health solutions.

As a Hearing Aid Dispenser with a certificate from the International Hearing Society as an Audioprosthologist, our dedication and desire is to provide our patients with the most current "state of the art" hearing instruments. As professionals we will work with the highest quality and most technologically advanced hearing products we feel are best for our patients.

Although the FCC now requires that hearing aid compatible (HAC) cell phones meet strict guidelines for quality, some hearing aid users wish to further improve their cell phone experience. Add-on devices and cell phone accessories can make cell phones even more compatible with hearing aids. Telecoil (also known as t-switch or t-coil) is a telephone switch feature that is now built in to about 45% of all hearing aids.
A diagnostic hearing evaluation is the first step in determining your hearing capability. If you have a hearing loss, it will detail the extent, type, and specifics of your particular hearing loss. The diagnostic hearing evaluation will be performed by a hearing professional, usually in his or her office, using equipment called an audiometer.

I can't say enough about the sincerity of this business that looks out for the end user. Rose May was enormously helpful when I needed to select my hearing aids. Her time was mine and she dealt with every question and concern I had. As a small business person I appreciate the overwhelming attention given to me.I wish I could give her ten stars.
