Really enjoyed this restaurant. Very clean and excellent ambience. I called ahead and was promptly seated at my reservation time. We started with the crab and lobster bisque it was excellent. Very flavorful and creamy with chucks of the crab and lobster. Next we had the grand oyster tasting. Probably the best oysters I've ever had. Not big and bulky but more petite and smooth with excellent flavor. For dinner we shared the corvina. It was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Had a glass of wine and they give you a sample taste before they poor it which is nice because my bf didn't like

Wow! I had no idea they did Sunday brunch until today, and it was actually great! Absolutely incredible service and a great classic eggs Benedict (skip the Alaskan crab one though...not enough crab meat. Get the one with ham). Everyone enjoyed their meal and experience. Thank you!! Will be back later for some oysters and cocktails

Very nice restaurant. Was not busy during our visit. Food was ok but service was poor. No water, no bread for us while every table around us received these items. Asked for tarter sauce 3x. Finally got it after I finally gave up and ate my food without it. Free chocolate dipped fruit bites, which everyone else received with their bills, were not offer after our meals. Definitely will not recommend.

Based on all the solid reviews it’s clear we caught them on a bad night or time.
We skipped the frozen daiquiri bar food and pizza places on the circle in search of something a little nicer and sadly, we were marginally let down.
Pros: server was friendly, food came out pretty quickly, enjoyed the outdoor seating, holiday lights were nice, piano guy was a nice touch.
Cons: for the location, ambiance and prices, getting a paper menu that was all stained with fold marks wasn’t a great first impression. Ultimately, we came for the food, and we should have stuck with either a “crab” or “fin”

First off... the host is a tad arrogant, for no apparent reason (other then maybe ordering us q-tips around gave him a sense of power) Get past this idiot and the rest is perfect! I have been here several times and ate at the bar. Perfect food and drink. Last week we ate upstairs... nice view of the circle !!! The waitstaff is super professional and fun! Don't miss this place!!!

Wow! Alejandro was truly the highlight of our night. We were a group of 6 and here for my sisters bachelorette and Alejandro went above and beyond to make our night so special. One bridesmaid was sick because we were obviously out drinking all night and he brought her a chamomile tea He also brought the bride a special desert and sang us a song. He is truly amazing and makes us want to come back just for him!!!

Crab and Fin is one of my favorite restaurants at St. Armands Circle in Sarasota! I love dining outdoors, the outdoor seating is nestled by the street with landscaping covering the street that makes it feel more intimate. Today while showing houses my husband and I took a lunch break here. It was a little chilly today and they turned on the outdoor heater. The service was excellent as always and the outside seating filled up quickly. My husband had Frutti del Mare which was delicious and I chose the crab cake sandwich. It is made with real crab. It was on an English muffin with tomato and melted

I had low expectations for some reason because the last place we went to was just ok. We came for lunch and sat outside. They had live music going on. Hubby and I shared the lobster crab bisque, which was rich, buttery and delicious. I ordered the grilled mahi tacos as recommended by our server. It was very fresh, good and filling. My hubby enjoyed his fish and chips. He said it was your standard fish and chips.

Great place to have lunch or dinner on St Armands circle. Food was fabulous I especially liked the grouper sandwich. Everyone in our party of 7 for lunch were pleased with our food and service. Little pricey but worth it. Atmosphere is great on St Armands circle. We had a great meal and a great experience here. Thank you.

My friends and I were road tripping to the Cape Coral area and stopped around the longboat key area. It was time for food so I looked on Yelp for a seafood place because I wanted seafood since we were out by the coast. I found Crab and Fin. We all walked in and realized we were underdressed. We were driving all day from Orlando in casual clothes, shorts and whatnot. Hotel was 2 more hours away. But we wanted to dine anyway. So they host took us to a section of the restaurant that was closed off to the rest of the dining area. We were definitely isolated. So anyway, our server Aaron came and greeted

Food was great! I had a Cobb salad with Bleu cheese and the produce was fresh and the presentation was spot on. My wife had a wrap that she loved and the kids cheeseburger was served on a fresh kaiser roll and my son said it was wonderful. Casey the waiter was pleasant and funny. We will definitely return the next time we're in the area. My wife's cocktail looked and tasted amazing as well!

Rude to elderly guests. A member of our party has clear dementia and struggled ordering, and the waitstaff kept rolling their eyes at each other.
The food is pretty bad---the $14 Caesar salad is served on wilted greens, without anchovies or croutons.
All of the fish dishes tasted old and had very small portions. A few specialties, like the branzino and crabcakes, were good but not incredible given the $40 - $50 price range. Shrimp cocktail appetizer was a highlight.
Atmosphere is extremely loud and looks run-down---the lighting and decor reminded me of the Overlook hotel, but with a strong

A friend recommended Crab and fin on our trip to Sarasota. We got there right when they opened at 11:30 am. You choose your own table. We sat outside in a secluded table- lovely. Indoor seating is a bit more upscale- nice.
Waiter was quick and friendly. My husband had oysters on the half shell and we both got the fruite de mare for lunch. Lots of shrimp, mussels, clams etc in the dish. Fresh pasta and tomatoes- very good. The bread was fresh and hot with yummy whipped butter too. No complaints. Ice tea was filled promptly too. Go enjoy.

Located on beautiful and busy Saint Armands Circle, not far from Sarasota city waterfront.
We had a Cobb Salad, and Grilled Sea-bass and Shrimp Combo.
The greens were fresh but salad sauce was a little traditional. The toppings (cheese, tomato, crispy bacon chips) made a joyful difference. To much of our surprise, Sea bass was tender and full of favor.
After all, it exceeds our expectation at a restaurant in the busy tourist center.
