Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) is a U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved non-invasive, non-surgical treatment option for intense, persistent heel pain associated with Achilles tendonitis and chronic plantar fasciitis. Compared to invasive or endoscopic surgery, ESWT has fewer side effects and much shorter recovery time with patients returning to light activities within a day and normal activities at approximately four weeks.

I just had a double total nail avultion done at the Brighton location. The service, attention to patient care, professional staff and Highly trained Dr, make this my only place to go. The quality and professionalism alone of the Dr and His staff made my experience seemless and reassuring!!!

Dr Pietrantoni was fantastic. I had painful tendinitis in both feet from using the wrong shoes and supports for jogging and running. He helped mitigate the pain in the short term and develop the right supports and shoes for me to eliminate the pain longer-term and going forward. I’ve been pain-free for a few months now and very thankful for having gone through the process!

Wonderful experience. The office staff is put together and efficient. The Doctor knows what he's doing. I half jokingly tell people that going here was a "life changing event". Your feet matter and these folks can help!

I can't think of a better experience for my foot care than I receive at Rochester Podiatry. Everyone in the office seem genuinely concerned with my issues, whether they be my foot health, securing supplies, billing, etc. No issue is too small for them to help me with.
On the subject of my foot health, Dr Pietrantoni has helped me more times than I can count. He has helped me with multiple issues, and every time he has resolved them, no matter how complicated. He is particularly good at explaining the issue, how he'd recommend treating it, and setting expectations for what will be involved. His

Excellent care , all the staff so friendly . They fit me in for a painful toe infection ! Dr. Pietrantoni is so kind and explains everything so well. He even measured my feet , who knew I was wearing shoes a size too small. Well , the doctor knew ! Definitely a super positive experience!

I went to Rochester Podiatry after suffering from plantar fasciitis for a year and a half. I tried every treatment and nothing worked. At Rochester Podiatry I was given shockwave therapy. My condition steadily improved and by seven or eight months, my plantar fasciitis was totally gone. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff there and Dr. Pietrantoni. Shockwave therapy changed my life.

I went to Rochester Podiatry this week because of severe heel pain and I came out of their office feeling taken advantage of. I have a high deductible insurance plan and I knew I didn't meet my deductible and so did they. So when I was told I need to get two legs splints for $100 each I knew it would come out of my pocket. Well before they got me the splints they put a form in my face to sign and the nurse said it was just saying the splints were 100 each and insurance wasn't covering them so I signed it. Since that was the first time I ever went to a foot doctor I agreed because
