William moved to South Florida in 1995 to explore a new and fast growing segment of the lighting industry, landscape lighting. Although his abilities allow him to work on almost any lighting discipline, he prefers the outdoor setting and has specialized in landscape lighting. He has had the privilege of working on many of Florida's most prestigious properties.

Williams passion for lighting started in 1982 where he worked as a lighting engineer at Loft Studios in Waltham Massachusetts. There he gained an intimate knowledge of theater and stage lighting.
