Services
The Montessori concept of education allows children to experience the joy of learning at an early age and provides an environment in which intellectual, moral, physical, spiritual and social growth flourish. It provides the vehicle whereby the child may attain inner discipline and control; he becomes the intelligent and responsible master of himself.
Our After-school program allows children at neighboring elementary schools to be picked up and brought back to Star. The children are encouraged to finish homework and other school assignments. Assistance is always available by our helpful staff. The children are then free to occupy themselves by a variety of ways.
TOT is a creative and unique way for a student to learn, experience and master all sorts of ball handling tricks! TOT teachers will model, encourage, & inspire your child to be the very best that they can be! Your child will attain many new skills that will instill a drive and motivation that will carry over into all areas of your child's life.
Look at all that space! Star Montessori School boasts some of the largest indoor space for afterschool students in the Pasadena area! Our students have the opportunity to take advantage of our large playground area, finish homework, and to play video games. We pick up from most local PISD, DPISD, and LPISD school.
As we slowly get back to normal life, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the happenings of Hurricane Harvey. With this Texas heat and summer in full swing, I am sure you are spending lots of time in the pool. There is no better way to cool off. Spring has sprung and we love to talk about different seasons and embrace change at Star Montessori, in our curriculum we are constantly.

My daughter started coming here at the age of 3 until she turned 5. Ms. Mary was awesome! Madison was well prepared going into Kindergarten. The entire school communicated well with me. Anytime I had concerns they were on top it. Out of the two years I've rarely seen new faces, which is great because your child will see the same faces. Being one of Jehovah's Witnesses, everyone respected our beliefs when it came to my daughter not participating in certain celebrations. Ms. Jessica and the other girls up front were amazing as well! As a parent, I entrust my little blessing to the staff at Star Montessori School and Day Care every day and I am thankful for the loving care and guidance she receives from Ms. Connie and Ms. Ashley. My daughter has been blessed to be taught by them as she fondly speaks about them once we get home. I feel so at peace knowing that she is interacting and having fun while in their classroom. I recommend Star Montessori to all my neighbors.

Both of my toddlers (5 & 4 years) attend this school, and the amount of material both of them have learned is amazing.
The teachers and staff are very knowledgeable and they genuinely care about the kids they teach.
The curriculum that is taught here, will put my kids above what other public school children are learning, which makes me feel good.
I definitely will recommend this school to any parents of children who are not of school age, to get a head start in their learning. The benefits to your child's education, will definitely out way any other school or daycare.

Star Montessori school has been a great place for our son. Since transitioning from another school where he would be upset daily at arrival to asking about his teachers by name when at home. This daycare is absolutely the best! We have had our son here since he was 18 months (he is now 3 and a half) and he has learned so much. They worked with us on his potty training and the routine they have for the kids there is excellent. I see my son around other kids who don't attend this daycare and he seems to be levels above them educationally. It is also very similar in price to nearby daycares. The staff is awesome with the kids and offers the continuous structure they receive at home. This is not an ordinary daycare where they just run around and play all day. It sets them up and prepares

I can't say enough good things about Star. I have had my kids in the Montessori school since they were 20 months and now my oldest is in the after school program. I am a very busy mom and I don't get a lot of time to read and teach my kids, but Star never lets me feel that "Working Mom Guilt", because they care for my babies and spend so much time teaching them. They have helped my children socially and academically. Thank you so much Star!!

I've been bringing my children to Star for more than five years! I cannot give enough praise to this school! The teachers are amazing and they have taught my boys so much!! They have a strict standard of teaching which I love! They are very nurturing but very good in disciplining in a proper manner so that the kids know right from wrong. My children have loved this school! Both of my boys were taught all of their state presidents at age two by Ms. Mary Moffet, whom I cannot say enough about! The directors at the school run a very tight ship which is why I think the school is very successful

I love this place. My toddler has been to creme de la creme and Primrose and I have to say I by far recommend Star over the other options. When I was in the office with the owner enrolling my daughter, kids would walk in the office for treats and owner knew every name by heart and stopped attending to me to speak with them. I knew then this place was amazing and truely cared about the kids. Meals cooked on site daily. Great curriculums.. Wonderful tendered caring teachers that are happy to be there. I couldn't ask for more. I have enrolled my second child since and they both look forward to

I have lots of experience with Star and it's a great school. They don't offer infant care because they specialize in toddler and preschool curriculum. The playground is huge, and safe! The teachers are nice, professional, and always keep parents up to date on the kiddos. The managers/owners are great.
