Ben is the absolute best you could ask for from a Pharmacist. He is knowledgeable, he knows his patients, and he and his entire staff go out of their way to make filling your prescriptions as easy as possible. They deliver if needed and they've always handled everything with refilling any Rx smoothly and have truly made my life easier. This place is night and day from a mega-pharmacy like CVS where no one cares, you wait forever, and they constantly create hassles. I moved years ago from TO to LA County and still use Ben/North Oaks because of how great they are.

Ben is the best pharmacist! He's both knowledgeable and friendly. He truly cares about his customers and goes above and beyond to provide great service. Ben and his staff are absolutely amazing! We have never felt more cared for at a pharmacy. The service is impeccable and it is clear that they truly care for their customers. My husband was discharged from the hospital late and Ben stayed open just so he could get the medication he needed. Each time a prescription is ready Ben or his staff personally calls me to let me know its ready. BEST pharmacy in town!

This pharmacy is by far the best pharmacy I've ever been to! Impeccable service, they truly care about their clients and know us by name. Our prescriptions are always ready fast and he had my hard to find medication when other pharmacies didn't. There is never a long wait like there is at the chain pharmacies.
He also gives good advice about medication and carries holistic remedies as well. You really get the personal touch here. There is a small town, local feel that we need here!

After suffering an ankle injury, I was recommended to take some medication to deal with the inflammation and swelling. I was referred to North Oaks Pharmacy, a very nice, local pharmacy and was very impressed!
The pharmacy is a locally owned in Thousand Oaks, and is a completely different environment compared to the corporate worlds of CVS and other chain pharmacies. Ben, the manager, is so kind and helpful, and it was great to have one on one interaction with a knowledgeable pharmacist! He went above and beyond explaining the medication and helping me deal with insurance.

The owner/pharmacist? was one of the nicest people I've dealt with. He actually delivered to my home even though I told him I could pick up my RX. And he called to see how the medication was working or if I needed more. I would continue going there, but it is a little far from my residence and as a 78 yr old, don't like driving any more than I have to. My pharmacy is much closer even though they don't offer the service that NOP did.

I recently discovered this jewel of a pharmacy in my hometown of Thousand Oaks. I had the same experience as the other reviewers, which was that I was treated kindly and courteously, and with excellent service. Unlike the big chains where you're just a number and the staff can act as if customers are an annoyance, my experience with my pharmacist, Ben, at North Oaks was a pleasure. He called me several times to let me know the progress of the prescription because it was a special order. He offered to deliver, and he was friendly and personable. Ben was so incredibly helpful! Long story short, I needed post-stroke meds for a family member that wasn’t discharged from the hospital until 5pm. North oaks was the ONLY pharmacy in the valley that had the meds, but it was “out of network” and EXTREMELY expensive! Not only did Ben go to bat for us with the insurance company, but when that failed he then helped us fill what we needed until an in-network pharmacy could fill the rest of the RX. Instead of leaving us stuck with a $600 “sorry!” - which I’m sure would have benefited his company - he helped me find a solution that was beneficial
