SRPM is capable of simultaneous 5 Axis machining for complex features and parts as well as high speed contour milling. Parts that require close positional accuracy in multiple planes are well suited for this process. Our Hermle 5 Axis machining center is constructed using a mineral casting which provides excellent cushioning properties, very low thermal conductivity and is not hygroscopic resulting in the following.

High Speed Horizontal Machining has been the core strength of SRPM since 1999 when we installed our first 25,000 rpm machine. Today we are equipped with several 400 mm and 500 mm Horizontal Machining Centers utilizing high speed spindles, high capacity tool storage, multiple pallet systems and advanced milling software.
