Make any entree Cantina Style by adding a side of cilantro lime rice and charro beans for only $3!. Chicken Tinga: corn tortillas, tinga sauce, melted mixed cheese, adobo crema, pico de gallo. Pork Carnitas: corn tortillas, melted mixed cheese, tomatillo crema, salsa verde, pico de gallo. Enjoy all the flavors of any Cantina Bowl wrapped inside a flour tortilla and served with a side of Charro Beans.
To reserve one of our spaces for your group, we only ask for an hourly room minimum, to be spent on food and drinks, plus tax and gratuity. Came to social cantina for a little date night with my husband and it did not disappoint! I had the taco salad with skirt steak and my husband had the despacito (sp?) bowl. Both were awesome. We had two very sweet managers come by and thank us for coming in as well as check on us and Camilla took wonderful care. I'm pretty picky and she handled all my demands greatly! I finally tried Social Cantina after being really resistant to the price. It is on the high end for me, but they do deliver on taste.
They give an excellent sized portion of guacamole, and the chips were delicious and fresh.
I got two tacos; Ahi Tuna, without the mango, and the Shrimp Verde. Of the two, I preferred the Ahi Tuna just because I thought the spice level was perfect, whereas the habanero crema on the shrimp was just a tad too spicy for my taste. If you love spicy food or the habanero flavor specifically, it's a great option.
I also tried their Paloma cocktail, and I'm not usually

We've been wanting to try this place but never took the trip to Bloomington to check them out. We couldn't wait for them to open. We went the first week of them being open an absolutely enjoyed everything! So much that we went back two days later. First the location is awesome. You can park in the parking garage attached for no charge. Let's talk about great service both times. The GM made sure he greeted us on both occasions. The food was great and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the Chips and Salsa flight. It was huge enough for 4 people. Let's not forget the Margaritas

We came with a large party of six people. They don't take reservations so we waited for about an hour on a Saturday night. Overall not a bad wait and you can grab a drink from the bar while you wait. I'd recommend trying one of their margs! They have a huge list of margs and other drinks options. Once seated we ordered the social nachos for the group. The chips had a Mexican blend of seasonings on them. The salsa and queso were good

I'll give this place the benefit if the doubt since it just opened and all restaurants seem to be understaffed. However, I sat at the bar while the restaurant was moderately attended and with 4 different bartenders but felt like I was a nuisance having to ask a bartender for anything. Hoping they're getting the kinks worked out. I'll be back and hope to upgrade my review following a better experience.

Blueberry Margarita was fruity and sour. Very delicious queso fundido con carne asada. House made chips were excellent. Their tacos were decent for Indiana. (That’s from a Texas perspective) Great bar atmosphere. Bartender was amazing, took very good care of his customers, always in communication with the kitchen making sure the food was coming out in good time.

Get the pozole, get the tacos, skip the chips. That's my recommendation to you. Yes, I know you like tortilla chips -- we all do. But you won't be missing much. I think the chips would be great with nachos because they are thick, a little bland and overly hard, and that is the perfect canvas for nacho toppings. But on their own, the tortilla chips are not really worth the calories.

A friend and I were in Carmel today and we wanted to try someplace neither of us had been. Mexican always sounds good and Social Cantina was right around the corner so we decided to have lunch there. It took a few minutes for the host to greet us, but while we were waiting three different people told us somebody would be right with us. We decided to sit in a booth in the bar. The host told us there was only one bartender so our wait might be a little longer in the bar. We didn't mind at all and I actually went to the bar to order our margaritas and guacamole to help him out.

The restaurant inside is beautiful. I like the high tables and stools that we sat on. The stuffed jalapeños we very good. Not too hot at all. We had the Chips and choice of 4 sauces flight. It was good. That was all we needed, but we had the Verde bowl. The lime cilantro rice was great. I didn't care for the chicken that was in my bowl. That being said, the food was good and the servers were very polite and helpful.

I think I may have found a new favorite!! The food is amazing and delicious. They have a really unique variety that you don't always see at a Mexican-themed restaurant.
Items like portabello tacos, avacado tacoes, and ahi tacos. They even have an appetizer that was so delicious!!

This place has a lot going for it. I stopped in here with my mom to end our night. First of all, the chicken nachos are out of this world delicious. They are packed with so much flavor and the queso is to die for. It's a roller coaster of tastes, citrusy, some spice, and great veggies.
The food and drinks came out quickly and we're fresh.
I was so close to rating it 4 stars instead because of customer service lacking a bit, but everything else makes up for it.

Great atmosphere for dinner and drinks with friends. The tacos are good but my favorite thing to get are the chicken enchiladas. The chicken is flavored perfectly and the rice and beans were not traditional but still tasted good. Always start with the chip and dip flight, the guacamole, queso, green salsa, and mango habanero are my four choices for dips. If beer is your thing they offer some of the Tap beers on draft.

I went during their Taco Tuesday and Mexican street corn (left to right-carne asada, pork belly, shrimp Verde) around 4:00 p.m. there wasn't much of a crowd and the food was very good, bartender was running around and didn't have time to chat but that's not unexpected I will definitely be returning .

The food looks wonderfully plated but honestly has to be the most bland food I've ever eaten before. The location and the Margaritas were a plus for them as well but the meal itself was a total bummer
