Wicked Studios is a queer-owned and operated collective for hairstylists and barbers. Passion for creativity, individuality, and the connections made from supporting each other and our community is what drives us. It is our obligation to maintain an atmosphere that is inclusive and respectful. We are committed to providing a community space for self-expression and transformation.

To make an appointment, please visit our stylists page to choose and contact your preferred stylist. We are located in the Crossroads Arts District on the second level of the brick building at the corner of 18th and Oak. We are located upstairs and are not wheelchair accessible, accommodations will be made by request.

Awesome hair studio. Clean, professional service. Great group of talented stylists. Although Kat is my favorite. Giving this review is a mixed bag. I'd almost prefer to keep them all to myself, but they deserve a shout out. Great job!

Beautiful space, well lit (lots of plants) and a great experience. Further, seems to be a great experience for the stylists who work there too, which is important.

I followed my hair dresser there. She seems very happy working there. The place was clean and quiet. The chairs were 12 feet apart for social distancing. I looked and felt great when I left.

I've been going to Jess for all of my hair needs(shaved designs and hair dye) for 3 years. She's a hair goddess. She helped restore my hair back to health after I used boxed dye (eep!) I've received so many compliments on my hair since I've been going to her and booking appointments are a breeze. Highly recommend!

Jess is amazing, talented, and very friendly. Her gallery is full of awesome art, and her prices are great. I've bounced around a lot of salons trying to find a good one in KC - I'm not looking any longer.

I always have so much at this salon looking at all the awesome art. Plus I come out looking better than when I went in. Jess is so good at coming up with cuts and styles that work for me and my style. I usually have no idea what I want but Jess always seems to know what I want.

Jess was so Amazing. I have naturally curly hair that has been professionally and box dyed, bleached blonde, and chemically straightened. She did a Malibu treatment to remove the mineral build up and then a haircut to remove all the damage. She also suggested a water filter for my shower off of Amazon to help with the mineral build up. My hair is so shiny and healthy looking. I love having long hair so I definitely think this will help the growing process. I also want to point out that she cut my curls like a pro. Curls need to be pruned like a plant and you are really supposed to cut where the
