Camp Tilikum
Camp Tilikum is a place where people can go to experience creation, build community, find refuge, encounter God, and see lives transformed. Nestled among the hazelnut orchards and hillside vineyards of Newberg, Oregon, Tilikum is about 45 minutes southwest of Portland. Tilikum has offered quality programs and retreat facilities for our guests since 1971.

In the summer, Tilikum serves children, youth and families through outdoor adventures. On a year-round basis, Tilikum is an ideal location for group retreats, day-use planning sessions and team building on the Challenge Course. The pastoral setting includes 93 acres of woods, a 15-acre lake, 3 miles of hiking trails, a recreation building and a restored 1909 one-room school house.
Services
Save at least an additional $75 off your Summer Camp registration when you register for Week 1. Led by Tilikum's college-age summer staff, small groups of 8-12 campers of similar age, experience the joys of God's beautiful outdoors together. Canoeing, archery, swimming and nature hikes are some of the activities your homeschooler will enjoy.
Since 1971 Tilikum has been partnering with local churches to bring kids to Camp. When youth ministers bring kids to camp they maximize the camp experience for youth, building strong relationships within their group and help them develop in their relationships with God. Follow-up continues in the local church, so the powerful influence of Camp can continue in their lives.
To discuss future reservations, email Suzanne Maki/Guest Services Director. Designed after an Indian longhouse, the Fawver Center is a multipurpose building situated at the east end of Lake Tilikum. The Fawver Center can be rented exclusively or as a part of a grounds use group rental. It may also be available at no additional charge in combination with a Tilikum Lodge rental.
To discuss future reservations, email Suzanne Maki/Guest Services Director. Camp Tilikum's Northridge facility is a perfect option for groups interested in a rustic, old-fashioned camping experience. This facility invites guests to enjoy a roaring outdoor campfire, a game of carpet ball or the beauty of the surrounding woods.
To discuss future reservations, email Suzanne Maki/Guest Services Director. For more than 40 years, Camp Tilikum has been a backdrop for school field trips, church and company picnics, college group outings, and youth groups on this 93 acre lake-front property. Often guest groups reserve exclusive use of the property and we cannot allow visitors on the grounds.

I grew up going to this Camp. It is so beautiful here. The lake is gorgeous and it has some great hiking trails. It is a summer camp so it's not meant for Rvs. They have a barn with goats, a miniature horse, a donkey, and some chickens. Whenever I am in the area, I always stop by here because it's so peaceful. It also helps that my Uncle, Dennis Littlefield, works and runs the camp.
