Our Lawn Sprinkler Opening/Start Up Service will have your system up and running for the season. Our technicians are fully trained to complete this service and ensure a proper opening/start up. Re-adjust all sprinkler heads and check the coverage for any changes due to landscape growth and/or property alterations.
Green Irrigation, Inc. is Longs Island's premier lawn sprinkler winter closing service company. Our Fall Closing Service is designed to shut down the sprinkler system and properly winterize all components for the winter season. This service protects the system from the winters sub-zero temperatures by preventing freezing.
Green Irrigation service technicians are fully trained to inspect the property for slope, sun / shade, drainage, and soil type. Our technicians will re-program your automatic timer to meet your landscape watering needs as the season changes.

Have been using Green Irrigation since I bought my house 7 years ago and been very happy. They have repaired my unit when i wasn't home, done all my opening and,closing of the system every year, and even called to warn me of high temps, suggesting when to increase my water time so my grass doesn't burn. Always recommend on FB and highly recommend here.

To start, i spoke to Green Irrigation several times in the hopes that i would NOT have to write this review. Sadly, they have given me no choice. I created a Yelp account for this situation.
First few visits were fine. They sent a great guy named Sean who was helpful and informative. Had some more expensive work done a second time, requested Sean and all was well. Pricey but well.

Wonderful service as always! We’ve been using Green Irrigation for years. They are very thorough and very professional. They are quick too! In and out and everything is done before you know it. We had them repair a few sprinklers last year that got wrecked by our lawn mower and they fixed them perfectly and in no time at all. We recommend them to everyone. Great service! 😊👍

Green Irrigation is an All-American family owned service. Their work has always been high quality, reliable and professional work. They maintained my system and check for leaks and water waste, which is important to me. Green also installed my sprinklers when I moved to Dix Hills in 2010. The system performed really well and the design gave me room to add new zones when my landscaping needs changed. It was the best decision I made as a new homeowner.

We started using Green Irrigation when we first moved into our home 2 years ago and I’m so happy we found them when we did. They’ve opened and closed our system each year and quickly resolve any issues they come across while doing so. The guys are super nice and do a great job. Do yourself a favor and schedule the service just before the season begins to ensure you get a good date! They get super busy (although it sounds like a negative, I look at it as a positive - they are busy because they are good). I’ve already recommended them to a few friends. Pricing is pretty fair too!

I received a card in the mail advertising their services. I failed to do my due diligence and hired them to open my system in the spring. After paying them to open my system and make two minor repairs to my system which is less than two years old, I came home see water gushing from one of the valves.
