Go to Nicole!!! (@nic_kill_hair) When I came in, my hair was pretty brassy with lots of orange tones, but I really wanted to do a dark-medium ash brown balayage. Nicole delivered and she really went above & beyond to help me reach my hair goals that day!! She was accommodating to my schedule and it was easy to book an appointment through text.

The process was also relatively quick (about 3.5 hrs) which was awesome for me because I get so tired if I sit in the chair for too long lol. Price was also reasonable & parking was super easy. Overall, it was a really comfortable and relaxing experience

Would give 0 stars if I could. Called to ask if there are any stylists with experience doing African American hair. The receptionist placed me on hold to check, then returned and said "no we don't have anyone with expertise doing that type of hair" I was appalled! What is "THAT type of hair"? Especially in Long Beach adjacent Los Al, I wouldn't expect this reaction. Look elsewhere, regardless of your hair type for a salon that appreciates ALL people and hair types

Had Mia fix my bleached out hair, turning Chola look, to style, sleek, mature sexy fresh color look. I love it!! After doing a consultation with her, she got me! She understood, listened, and followed through. I'm impressed! She did a reverse balayage, running a little natural dark through, giving me dimension rather than the one grown out color. It's so pretty!! Go see Mia!

I came in two weeks ago to fix a haircut that I did myself. I know, I know..but after a couple of YouTube videos, I thought I could do it! I've been growing my hair out for the past 5 years without any cut or dye. Once I got married in June, I wanted to cut all my hair off. So I did haha Maddy was available for a last minute cut and she took me in and made my vision for what I wanted my cut to be come to life! I absolutely loved it and received many compliments. I recently just came in to add some color to my hair and Maddy once again, nailed it. I highly recommend this salon and high recommend

I started researching for a new stylist when mine moved away and couldn't get on anyone's list as they were not taking new clients. Getting desperate as my friend's bridal shower was nearing, I started calling every salon nearby that would do same day walk ins. Just my luck that Brenda was a total blessing! My experience with her was more than just amazing service, she's a true artist that has perfected her craft. From the start of washing my hair all they say to styling in the end, she nailed exactly the perfect cut for me! Bit pricey though!

I was desperate to find a new home for my hair after deciding to leave my original stylist from losing my patience with her...so as you can imagine, it's hard to find someone new who will make wonders with my hair. Luckily, I was referred to Haven Salon from a coworker. I'm soooo glad I reached out them! Jackie took such great care of me. She listened to what I wanted and gave her honest opinion on what may or may not work. My hair feels so alive! It no longer looks like a broom! Lol! Thank you Jackie!

Brenda has done my hair for 20 years and I'm so happy to see her have her own space. She has created such a special space a group of stylists. It's a welcoming space, clean and relaxing. There's a variety of stylists all of which are friendly and talented. If you need a good haircut/color Haven is the place for you.

Alecia is very unprofessional and rude, makes you feel uncomfortable. She does not care for clients or customer care. I wouldn’t recommend this place , at least not with this person. Salon is pretty and in a good location.

Nicole has been cutting my hair for about 10 years now and I wouldn't have it any other way! She is great with men's haircuts and I would suggest anyone who prefers a shorter style to book with her. Plus she usually colors my hair slightly to help blend in the grays with my naturally dark hair and it turns out great! In terms of the rest of the salon I find it to be such a comfortable friendly atmosphere. All of the girls are always so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this salon!

Mixed review here. I looove the way my highlights come out every time I book w Nicole. She's very polite, professional, prompt and knows her stuff. Problem is, we're in the height of a COVID wave, (my appt was 12/3/2020) and the other stylist in the salon (not mine) didn't wear a mask, nor did she have their clients wear them. At the very least, it's inconsiderate of the other people in the room. This exactly why people get sick and businesses get shut down.

Great service, Jackie was super welcoming and nice. I will definitely make future appointments for hair services here. It was by appointment so make sure you call ahead. It wasn't packed like other salons so I felt comfortable with covid and all.

Nicole was the best! I came in with bleached hair with horrible roots and she added dimension with darker lowlights and did a amazing shadow root so the grow out won't be so harsh , so sweet and so knowledgeable, will definitely return, THANK YOU NICOLE :)

I have had several appointments with Jackie and have loved the results she has gotten with my hair. It took us several sessions to get my hair light enough from black to do a fun red ombre and she was able to maintain the length of my hair. She makes you feel like a million bucks. She listens to what your hair goals are and provides honest education for realistic expectations to achieve your best and healthiest hair!

My favorite salon! I've been getting my hair done at Haven for a few years now and have been meaning to leave a review. Ariel is my favorite stylist and always helps me achieve my hair goals! I have to admit, it's been challenging during these COVID times to stay positive and having the salon open again has been a blessing. During Covid I had to have my appointments rescheduled twice and Ariel was always great about following up and making sure to let me know when or if she would be able to take me again for an appointment. Obviously knowing she had an entire book of clients to move around

I moved here from out of state had no idea where to go to get my hair done. I do a bleach and tone so I knew it was important to find someone that can handle my hair. I read reviews on this place and decided to try it. Ariel is amazing! She listened to what I wanted & made it happen! I have now been seeing Ariel for 2 years and would recommend her to anyone. Worst customer service I've ever experienced and I didn't even get to do my hair. It took weeks before Ariel responded to my multiple messages on both Instagram and text to get an appointment (pre-covid shutdown). Then I finally get my appointment and the second shut down begins on the day of my appointment so Ariel says I will be at the top of her waitlist to be scheduled the moment they open up. I wait weeks AGAIN and follow up and I have to send multiple messages again to get an update. Then I see the salon is open so I message the main account on Instagram and they leave me on read

Stephanie is the BEST!! She always listens to each member of our family, grandma, me (youthful) and my son. Each of us love her and our hair after she is done with it 💕💕💕

First time getting hair extensions. Was scared to get them because I didn't know a thing about them. Nicole was absolutely amazing. She educated me and explain the best type for my short Bob. Ordered my hair so it took the guess out of the process. I then came back in and WOW!!!

I love the feel and weight! Prize is so reasonable and affordable. Can't wait to cone back in!!!
