This a great dream come true for Vern and Pure Performance because it's not everyday that a person gets an opportunity like "Root Beer". For Vern, this is a project that took years of planning and every year another custom piece is added. The body has been fit with Dirty Bird body parts and not leaving a stock look anywhere on the motorcycle.
In an attempt to stay productive and finish our commitments we've turned to a scheduler system. We have two schedules, one for consultation and one for scheduling a motorcycle drop off. This is important because we are overwhelmed with calls and other avenues of messaging. It's just two of us and answering questions is a full time job in today's world.
Our Motorcycle Dyno Graphs date back to 2010 when we started tuning with our Dynojet 250I Motorcycle Dyno. Over the years maintaining it and keeping it up to date with the most current software "PowerCore by Dynojet". Collecting thousands of motorcycle horsepower and torque graphs. W have our favorite performance packages because we have seen a lot of different approaches.
Our Operator has experience that dates back to 2005. He has over the years collected hundreds of tunes and thousands of hours of Dyno seat time. As a team we have over 20 years combined of tuning experience. This experience gives us a unique understanding of their operating characteristics. Before riding the motorcycle onto the Dyno we start with our safety checks.
Pure Performance Motorcycles is a full service motorcycle repair shop, preventive maintenance, parts sales and storage facility. Established in 2009 we serve West Fargo, Fargo, Moorhead and the surrounding areas. Our technicians perform all manufactures scheduled maintenance intervals. We have access to the manufacturers recommended schedules for all makes and models.

I have been dealing with Herm for 20 years. His shop is top notch. Knowledgeable, top quality, the work is done when they say it’ll be done, and they’re always willing to help a customer out. As far as I’m concerned this is the only bike shop within 100 miles of town

I had the motor rebuilt on my 2006 Flhtci with 93k miles. The crew at Pure Performance really helped with recommendations that fit my riding style. I am totally satisfied with the results! They are professional and the quality of work was at the top. If you’re in search of a shop that has that old school feel with the knowledge of the latest technology and stands behind their work look no farther, they treat you as family!

I brought a bike to Herm and Casey that had been stored by my brother who had passed away. This bike had not run in two years, when I brought it to these two strangers I did not know that by the end of our journey together that I would not only have a wonderful machine but two more brothers to go along with it, I truly love these guys and the work they do..

Dads bike was in for about 8 weeks when they told him it would be in and out in 2 weeks. They do not dyno bikes everyday, only when it’s above 50 degrees. Had my bike in and comes back with nice deep scratch on side panel. Probably expect to not have your bike for at last 4 times as long as they tell you or if done right away comes back with scratches. Not impressed.

Was on the road traveling and needed new tires for my 2010 Road King. They got me in within 2 days of my original call, gave me a good price, and had me in and out in a couple of hours. They also advised me of anything they noticed that could be a problem, no pressure to repair right now just a heads-up and get repaired before too long. Good job guys!
