At Primary Vision Care, we believe in doing things the absolute best things can be done. Our company is built on our acronym UPCE, which stands for UNRIVALED PATIENT CARE EXPERIENCE and that is our goal with each patient. We work our absolutely hardest to achieve this; we train our staff, and we practice this idea Our staff lunchroom shares this belief on all sides that's how much we believe in our goal, UPCE.
In 2017, Primary Vision Care appointed Amy Albright as Chief Operations Officer. Her responsibilities include daily business operation, facilitating company activities in sales, marketing, and support, executing our business strategy, ensuring consistent, operational excellence and ensuring that we provide quality care for our patients company-wide.
UPCE is the goal the staff at PVC strive for with each patient who enters our offices. UPCE is an acronym we started when we began our business in 1995. It stands for "Unrivaled Patient Care Experience", and it is how we believe each patient who enters our doors should be treated.
You have probably heard of the Starbuck's Experience; it is a proven philosophy of taking something simple: a basic trip to get coffee and making it a special experience.Hopefully, we all have once felt a "WOW" moment when we perhaps checked into a hotel or had an amazing waiter at a simple lunch; and the experience changed your day and your mood from an okay one to a great moment.

Nathanael who is 21 and ready to graduate from Kenyon College first started working at PVC around 7 and was proud to come to work with his Dad. He started by opening mail and cleaning the frame boards, but mostly enjoyed break time. Now he assists in technology and each summer seals the parking lot and helps to paint buildings.

I called to schedule an eye exam for my husband and I. My husband is already an established patient. The receptionist on the phone said she would call me right back because her computer wasn’t cooperating. That was over two hours ago... my guess is the computer must have blown up?
I called LensCrafters and they got us right in and they accept most insurances. Don’t waste your time with this place. It’s pretty clear they don’t care.

I will begin with the obvious about PVC their parking is horrible. The laundry mat consumes the majority of their lot. Next is the customer service, I have been a PVC customer for many years and lately the employees have been rude. When I say rude I mean assuming that my 13 year old (who was with me) was doing something wrong while trying on glasses. I had been the week prior so I knew the covid procedures and was right there with her to ensure she was doing what she was supposed to. After that rude encounter was the technician that tests the eyes. We were an inconvenience to her and obviously

Had awesome experience from scheduling appointment to getting my glasses. Went with transition lenses, the ones that also adjust when driving. Cant say how ecstatic I am about them, they aren't to dark. I heard older transition lenses the first few steps you kind of was walking blind til they adjusted. My experience with them I don't even notice a visual difference between being inside or outside. It's hard to explain, they act like sunglasses when I'm outside, but walking inside they seemingly instantly adjust I don't notice a visual loss of any kind. They do appear dark at first when you walk

Dr Henry and the entire practice are phenomenal. They are really amazing with picking out frames to fit your face. Also, thanks to Dr Henry we became aware of a very serious condition that my son may have had. Dr Henry went the extra mile to share with us a remote possibility that ended up becoming a real issue for my son. We will never leave!

I’ve been to this place for over 7 years. I’ve always had great service until this past year. They got a new call system (as if they’re too busy to manually answer calls) that forces you to leave a message instead of hold. I have left 3 messages in the past 2 months and haven’t received one call back. Switched my optometrists today and pleased with Appleton in Indian mound mall!

The optometrist that I saw was pretty good. However, the staff that work at this office are not professional. I see this is echoed in other reviews of this office.
I was told I could come in early to fix an issue with the contacts they prescribed me. I arrived 2 minutes before their regular hours, not 9:30 as she had told me I could. I arrived at 9:58 to a locked door and the staff watching me from inside. When I knocked, I was met by the receptionist in an extremely rude way. They denied that they had claimed I could come in early and were confrontational about it.
They were also confrontational

I have had great experience with the eye doctors and clinical staff. However I have had issues with front staff calling when my products were in, or returning phone calls. I have been waiting more than two weeks for a trial contact to come in before ordering. I got a voicemail that it was in and I needed to schedule a time to come in a try the fit. I have made three calls, during business hours, that when straight to voicemail. I left messages and they have never been returned. Today is Thursday, I left a message around noon, no call back, and now the office is closed until Monday. I NEED these
