To complement ISM, Body Reboot, a comprehensive sports recovery center is located within the Shin Center. Corner Liberty Travels, look up and you'll see the sign to the 951 Lobby. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and we're half way down the hallway.
ISM (Integrative Sports Medicine) is a combination of alternative medicine treatments. These regenerative treatments activate the body's natural healing abilities. Whether you're a professional/amateur athlete, an active weekend warrior, or a grandmother dealing with knee pain, ISM offers the chance to restore your health, return to your dynamic life, and keep you there!.
At the initial visit, Dr. Shin will go over the patient's medical history thoroughly. This process is a vital part of the initial visit because it helps to analyze if the patient has any repetitive movement injuries, compensation patterns, or other reasons behind the complaint. Fine, sterile needles are inserted into the body at specific points to create a pathway for the flow of energy.
We do not take insurance at the Shin Center of Integrative Sports Medicine; however, we accept all forms of payments including HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account). Dr. King is pure magic. The Shin Center is an amazing place. As a veteran (40+) fencer who competes nationally, I could not keep up my training or schedule without Dr. King's help. I had my very first acupuncture session with Dr. King and I found the whole experience life changing. The Shin center is truly a place for healing. I have struggled with chronic pain for years. I’ve been to many doctors and never have I experienced such comfort. After just one appointment with Dr. King, I already feel a big difference in my mobility. Dr. King is absolutely amazing! He truly believes in a holistic approach and provides personalized treatments. Dr. King is incredibly talented, intuitive and welcoming with his practice. As a long time athlete who competed in a professional sphere, my body was in need of some serious assistance. After one session of acupuncture and needle therapy, I improved my range of motion with my right shoulder dramatically. I wish I had taken before and after photos. I had my first appointment with Dr. King and it was an awesome experience. The office is beautiful, super modern, and clean. Dr. King was really knowledgeable and excited about his work. You can tell he enjoys what he does and he believes in it. Everything I had done was completely painless and I immediately felt better walking out.
