Services
Our programs are designed to increase confidence, self-discipline and self-esteem (shy kids attract bullies; confident kids repel bullies). Our emphasis is on Character Development as we foster Black Belts of Excellence for life by incorporating traditional taekwondo (kicking and punching) along with contemporary, dynamic teachings including boxing, grappling and kick boxing techniques.
Our Lil' Dragon Program was designed specifically to prepare your child for kindergarten. It includes instruction in safety skills, life skills and martial arts. These skills help your child become well rounded by developing their social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth.
A few things Lil' Dragons will learn: to follow instructions, take turns, act respectfully, problem solve, show self-control, socialization, build fundamental motor skills, increase their focus ability and promote stamina and coordination.We encourage our parents to be patient and not compare their child to others.

Classes are divided in two age groups; 6-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds. This allows us to design our class using age appropriate skills and activities. We avoid the frustration of the younger students who cannot keep the pace of the older ones; while we make sure our older students are pushed hard enough to meet their emotional and fitness needs.
Martial Arts for teens is a positive experience that allows teens to surround themselves with good friends and valuable adult role models. Workouts can provide a much-needed break from the heavy workload of increasingly intense school curriculum and activities.
Important values such as Respect, Confidence, Goal Setting, Teamwork, Camaraderie and a Fitness Training that challenges them both mentally and physically, are taught in a positive environment.Our instructors are excellent role models and help inspire and promote the leadership qualities that can provide a competitive edge for teens in today's society.

Our birthday parties are the talk-of-the-town. Parents love them because there is no mess or hassle since we do the work for you. Kids love them because where else can you cut your birthday cake with a samurai sword? All our parties are 1-1/2 hours long and include invitations, thank you notes, group picture, martial arts class and games, gift for the birthday child, two-week passes for the invitees and set-up and cleanup.

Truly an amazing place for your kids. It is so much more than sports and extracurricular activity for your child. They are a one big, caring family. Communication is amazing. They individually tend to each child and address their needs/concerns. Parents get great feedback.

Since my son has started at this academy, he has really excelled; not just in learning Taekwondo, but in school as well. His confidence in himself and his abilities has grown, his grades in school have improved, and he is motivated in all he does to be his best. This in itself is worth the tuition. BUT WAIT, there's more! There is a sense of community at the academy that is hard to find in other extracurriculars. There are parent nights, holiday parties, and community donation drives. They have "mat chats" that teach the children how to be upstanding citizens and good people. There is so much to

I recommend the Little Dragons Program. I have 4 year old twin girls. They love the 30 minute classes. There are several great instructors helping the kids during every class. I love watching my girls confidence and coordination develope. The look of joy on their faces when they accomplish a task is priceless.

I really enjoy this school. My son just started a few weeks ago. He had been doing karate classes before and we had taken a break, but watching now excited he is when he hits milestones is pretty special. He is setting goals, working on focusing and making friends. The staff work with the kids and make the experience feel very customized to their needs. I liked it so much, I’m starting classes too! Grand Master and Master Tippett are two of the best instructors. They both allow the kids to have fun while learning but still provide structure. All of the volunteers are also great and definitely have plenty of patience. I personally enjoy the parents night out. My husband and I definitely take advantage of that and enjoy the 3 hours of alone time while also having a peace of mind knowing our son is safe and having a great time himself. I would definitely recommend Arrowhead Martial Arts Academy.

Signing my daughter up for classes has been one of the best decisions ever!! Her self confidence has grown so much in the past couple of months, it makes my mom heart so happy! The structure, and values that are taught, it really feels like a family. With her having T1D I was afraid she would be treated differently, but not once has she been singled out or made to feel any different from any of the other students, that right there speaks volumes! I’m beyond happy we have found a place where she has found her passion and she loves what she’s learning! Thank you, AMAA!!!

My wife and I were simply blown away at the intensity of the staff and their attention to detail. Secondly, our son Jack suffered from major focus issues. Within weeks Jack's attitude, overall manners, and all of the areas we were seeking to improve, were quickly changed for the good and it's all credit to the the team at Arrowhead martial art academy. Not only does he love going to his little dragons class, we love having a kid who is respectful and polite. Thanks to the entire team!
