As a west-coast transplant to KC, inheriting a mystery of a sprinkler system, I was so relieved to find Marco and Heather (and Nacho) soon after our arrival. I didn't even know you had to turn sprinklers on and off each year! Marco discovered previously unused sprinkler lines in our backyard as well, updated all sprinkler heads, and gave me confidence in managing the system. He has traced leaks, extended lines where needed for better coverage, and installed a money-saving rain sensor. Highly recommend Marco from Duarte Irrigation for your sprinkler maintenance and repairs. I called them to see why my system was not working. Apparently, when my neighbor had his sprinklers installed his contractor cut my lines in the process. Marco kept walking the yard from sprinkler head to sprinkler head explaining to me that something was not right. After a few minutes, he found the issue because of his 15 years of experience. 3-year customer and asked them to come adjust some sprinklers after landscape work. Owner said we were not ready to have lines fixed and would come back later to do everything. Charged us for a service trip without notifying us. There were other sprinklers that could have been fixed at that time had we known they would tack on the charge. He chose the easy way out and hope the afternoon off was worth losing our business. Durate Irrigation has been servicing our lawn irrigation for years, as well as performing our back flow checks and submitting the necessary paperwork to the city. Marco and his team have also done quite a bit of landscaping, in an effort to divert water flow, and protect our home.
Their prices are very reasonable and work is always completed as promised. Marco and his team are reliable and professional, and we have referred Durate Irrigation to many neighbors, friends and family.
