Genetics can be fascinating. It's fun to see where your blue eyes came from or who else in your family is as double jointed as you are. However, there are some things that we inherit that aren't quite as fun. In fact, did you know that bunions are often caused by an inherited foot structure? Before you start shaking your fists at genetics, there are ways to treat your bunions in Naperville, IL so that you can live a pain-free life.
The Cartiva Synthetic Cartilage Implant is a man-made synthetic implant that is used to replace damaged cartilage surface of the big toe. The Cartiva SCI is intended to treat painful arthritis in the joint of the big toe. This arthritis of the big toe, also known as Osteoarthritis, involves the wearing down of the cartilage tissue located on the big toe joint.
Note: For any foot condition, please consult your physician before taking any medication for pain management. Recurring or persistent (chronic) pain on the outer side of the ankle often develops after an injury, such as a sprained ankle. The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society identifies both conservative and surgical treatment methods to alleviate this pain.
Plantar fasciitis is the term commonly used to refer to heel and arch pain traced to an inflammation on the bottom of the foot. More specifically, plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the connective tissue, called plantar fascia, that stretches from the base of the toes, across the arch of the foot, to the point at which it inserts into the heel bone.

Went in for a procedure to stop the pain on both pinky toes. Dr.j said removing the nail would remedy the problem. 6 months After both nails are removed the problem still persist in fact it’s worse than before. I go back in for her to tell me to give it a year and billed me $200 for that. So here I am a year later with the same problem and no pinky nail. Will not be going back

I saw Dr J initially in January and was instantly in love with her bedside manner and caring personality when I met her. I had already been to one podiatrist who I wasn't impressed with so I thought I'd get a 2nd opinion. I was recommended by a couple friends and I'm soo glad I decided to switch doctors. She is the nicest, most caring doctor I've EVER had! I wish she could be my primary doctor Lol. She really took the time to listen to my questions and was determined to heel my foot. I had been dealing with pain in my heel and plantar fasciitis for about a year and a half and she told "well, that

Dr. Jagodzinski recently performed foot surgery on me and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. From my initial appointment through my post surgery follow-up appointments, Dr. J. was always very kind, caring, through and knowledgeable. I appreciated her explaining everything that was going to take place and what the recovery process would be like - her openness and transparency left nothing to the imagination. She and her staff are very customer-focused and I would recommend their services to everyone.

I've been coming to Dr J for a couple decades. She has removed an ingrown toenail and offered relief for heel spur, bursitis and plantar fasciitis in both feet now. She's a wonderful surgeon if you need to go to that extent.
Her bedside manner is wonderful. So thoughtful and caring. Her staff are all helpful and friendly.
She's treated a couple other members of my family with great results too.

Prior to my initial visit with with Dr. J I had been misdiagnosed by two other Podiatrist's. By the time I visited this office I had almost given up hope! Dr. J took time to go over everything and came up with a treatment which was great success. I'm recovering very well post op. I'm very thankful to have found her.
Dr. J is caring and thorough. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. I highly recommend her!

I cannot thank Dr. J enough for what she's done to help me. I went in thinking I'd get the quick fix like my last Doctor had done. But on my first visit she gave me all the info I needed on every step that I could take. She gave me Pros and Cons of each decision and I never felt once like she was leading me to a specific procedure. She knows her stuff and answered all my questions and concerns!
So once I made my decision I didn't have a worry in the world, because I knew everything I needed to know. She took the time to understand my surroundings and take my daily life into account for recovery

Great experience from start to finish. Dr. J and her staff were beyond thorough in explaining every step of my surgery process. I felt very comfortable with the doctor and her staff and knew they would always be clear with the next steps of treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. J and her office for treatment. Even though I live in the city, after my initial consultation with Dr. J, I fully committed to the treatment she recommended and had no problem commuting from downtown to Naperville because I knew the results would be worth it. The doctor performed a revision of a previous bunionectomy

From the moment I walked in to her office I felt very welcomed and at home. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. That I feel is a reflection of Dr. J herself. It has been six weeks since my foot surgery and Dr. J has been with me every step of the way! I was worried how my incision site looked one day, so I took a picture of it and sent it to Dr. J via text from my phone. She answered in less than 10 minutes and totally put my mind at ease, and even offered for me to come in 4 days earlier than my next appointment if I wanted. Dr. J is a wonderful doctor and has an awesome "bedside manner."
