Called RC Appliance via AHS Insurance. Not a good idea as they were not dependable, showed up very late, did a "troubleshooting" that actually caused the refrigerator to stop working altogether. Came out twice, and still without a working refrigerator. When they FINALLY called back late on a Friday afternoon they offered to come out the next Wednesday. Food was already spoiling and they couldn't care less. Use a company that has a far better track record. You can be sure I will get my reimbursement from AHS once the problem is fixed by a legitimate and dependable repair service

Our Home Warranty Company scheduled RC Appliance to repair a refrigerator in a condo in Reno. Their schedule is always backed up so takes a long time to get a technician to come out. They replaced a Defrost Heater Assembly and the Defrost Thermostat in Feb. 2021. Today the refrigerator started having the same problem. We no longer have a Home Warranty, so I called RC Appliance because I was pretty sure the parts (and service ?) would be under warranty, since only 5 months have passed since repair. Well, that was useless. They can't get out to the condo for 2 Weeks !! Seriously ? So

If you have nothing to do besides wait for technicians to show up, this place may be for you. Calling at 9 AM to cancel a 10 AM appt is unacceptable especially after waiting 7 days for the appt. Dispatch called to cancel - she didn't even have the correct appt info. Wanted me to wait another 4 days and take another day off work.

Worst customer service I have ever received. Repair guy came out to my house and took less than 15 minutes to evaluate the problem. Going on week 4 and still waiting for him to submit the evaluation to my insurance company so they can process the claim. Unbelievable! My husband has called them several times during this time and has gotten nothing but the run around. Every time he is told it will be submitted tomorrow. Basically this business does not care about their customers instead of following through they make excuses. We filed a complaint with our insurance company since this was the contractor

The communication is weak at best. The tech said he would have the igniter on hand and get back to us on Friday. It's Monday, I haven't heard from anyone. So, I called. I explained to a young lady on the phone what happened she said the part was ordered. They'd get it by Wednesday and get me in on Friday.
If it weren't for the homeowners insurance I bought when I bought my house 6 months ago, that made it so I had to go through this company to get it fixed. I would cancel immediately.

Mike was super upfront regarding the fix for our in refrigerator ice maker. He came out assessed the situation, ordered a part and set the expectation of possibly before Christmas but we had a visit a day later and it is fixed! I have never seen so much crushed ice, ever! Thank you for getting it to done so quickly and professionally but personable. Great service both personally and mechanically! Highly recommend!!

Really poor service. They were contracted by American shield to repair my dishwasher. They scheduled to come out between 9 am and 1 pm. Technician calls at 12:16 pm saying they were on the way. My husband was waiting for them by the front door. Two hours later no call no show. Contacted American shield and they said they couldn't give an ETA . Called RC appliance at around 4 pm. Front staff rude. Started yelling at me. Said technician came by and no one answered the door and left note and left. So basically lied because my husband was home all day and no note in front.

After having multiple issues with scheduling with Lake Appliance, I found RC Appliance on Yelp. I contacted RC over the phone and spoke with Shannon. Shannon set my appointment up the next day!!! She was extremely knowledgeable and courteous regarding our Samsung washer and dryer issues and made my appointment a top priority. Owner Rick came over the next day and boom! Fixed all my washer dryer issues no problem. Our 7 year old Samsung set works 110%! RC is very reasonable priced for the services they provide. Good experience with RC Repair. The office called to schedule each visit and set up an arrival time window. Our technician Mike arrived within the time window. Mike was polite and friendly and took care our our microwave repair. Parts had to be ordered and Mike was back as scheduled to make the repair. We will use RC if needed in the future.

We had an issue with our air gap spitting water into our sink and decided to call our home warranty company who created a service order for RC Appliance Repair.
We were on a tight timeline due to a home inspection and therefore I called their office first thing Monday morning and left a voicemail. I received a call back within one hour and the woman told me that she would be sending Mark out within 20-30 minutes.
We met Mark and my husband explained what he had done to try and fix the situation and Mark quickly began to troubleshoot the issue.
Within 20 minutes he had determined the problem

I have a Home Warranty company and they chose RC appliance to come check my tenants refrigerator. The technician was in their house for less than 5 minutes, didn't take a tool out, and said that it's working fine. Couple days later same issue, called my home warranty to send another technician from RC Appliance. THEY REFUSED TO COME BACK OUT!
Now theres SPARKS coming from under the fridge!
I will NEVER request this place again, and will tell anyone I see to stay clear away from this company.
