Allergic to snooty designers, Tess founded Tess Leeds redesign to help real people with average budgets and messy kids (or pets) have a happy, beautiful home. Tess drew her first floor plan in 5th grade and has been decorating and redecorating ever since. Ruby Shoes Redesign (the company's original name) began in 2008.

Services
A redesign session identifies what's not working in your space, creates a new vision for you and gives you a detailed design plan to make it happen on your timeline and budget. Interior design is expensive, redesign is not. Color transforms the way you feel about your home. Create balance and harmony with your furnishings.
The form will include several pictures of your space and images or a link to rooms that you love, along with a few other questions about your needs. This gives us a chance to start designing ahead of time and allows us a better sense of the scope of your project. Contact us and we'll send you the current rate card right away.
Redesign sessions vary depending on what is staying in the room and how quickly we find your inspiration point. Tess has young twins, so she gets it. This time is valuable and it's hard to really get your money's worth if you are distracted. If you have questions after the redesign session (before you have your follow up appointment) a period of 20 minutes email and/or phone time is included with your redesign session.

I am so happy with all the ideas and support Tess provided. In a few short hours she helped me pick a paint color for the wall, size and color for chairs, end tables, lamps etc. She came with canvas templates of furniture she could lay on the floor to give us an idea of how big items would be and if they would fit. She provided an idea board via email with links to all the products we chose on line so I could easily access them. She was super responsive to my multiple emails and pictures as I picked out items from HomeSense and HomeGoods, and gave me candid advice. Would highly recommend Tess!

Tess has helped us with several room redesigns and we can't speak highly enough of her. She has a great eye for color and space, and we have been really happy with the results. As a busy working mom, it was well worth the money (which was quite reasonable) to have someone help me pick colors, find fabrics, ID good furniture choices, etc. And she's been really responsive and generous with her time in answering follow-up questions. I don't feel like I'm just a job to her -- she's almost as vested as I am in the ultimate outcome.

We've hired Tess Leeds Redesign twice - once to redesign our huge, dark family room and again to redesign our front hall/laundry area/bathroom. Each time, she has been uber-professional - she asked a lot of questions and helped me learn what styles I liked. Then, she patiently walked me through the process of redesigning my spaces, gave pictures of what they would look like & even provided step-by-step instructions to make the redesign happen.
