I do not recommend shopping here. I bought a scooter here around six months ago. It was reasonably priced, but within weeks it had trouble starting. I eventually determined that it was a battery issue and had the battery charged at Oreilly. They said the battery was defective. I took the scooter to Mr Scooter and asked if they could confirm this and replace the battery. Mr Scooter charged me $140 to look at it and insisted the battery was fine. A week later the scooter again wouldn't start. Also Mr Scooter said they would request a license plate. When it never came I went to Mr Scooter and

I'm just not happy about the scooter I purchased from mr scooter. I returned the coral pink buddy 125 cc to mr scooter yesterday. After the warranty expired it was nothing but trouble. During the warranty I have five receipts from work done under warranty and I'm sure the scooter is a lemon. Do not purchase anything from mr scooter that's my take on it. This guy should just stop trying.

Bought a 2008 Vespa GT 200 with a salvage title from Mr. Scooter. I was a big skeptical about buying a salvage title, but Pedro assured me it would work all the same. He was right and the scooter was much cheaper than other places I was looking to purchase.
The scooter purchase came with a 3 month warranty. After purchasing, I had some issues with a loose spark plug and the gear box making some funny noises. I brought it in and they quickly repaired the issues for me at no charge.
James has been helpful to communicate with me. Appreciate their help to get me back on the road.

* The majority of the scooters have a salvage title. They will tell you that it's not a big deal.
* Which *could* be true. Or it could result in a $500-800 fix down the road.
* Why the 2-stars? Because they post Craigslist ads in the 'by owner' section that make it seem like they are a private party. They don't mention the salvage issues in the postings, emails, and replies (which is borderline illegal for a dealer). And the prices certainly don&apos

The worst customer service that I have received in San Francisco and the many years that I've lived here. My scooter was returned to me with grease prints, scratched and damaged, and it no longer will fall into the lock position. I paid for a full service that I was quoted $250 for that proceeded to be over $550 without them requesting to do maintenance. (Example, when you're mechanic need to install parts they call you first.)

So my Vespa stops in a neighborhood far from mine. I call Mr. Scooter, It takes Pedro a day to get it towed and fixed. I bring it home and it stalls out again. I'm upset. But am told that it will be towed back and repaired.
Which it was. In my many years dealing with Mr Scooter and the owner Pedro, I have come to realize you should be patient. And unlike other people posting negative reviews...I believe that they will always make it right.

I needed to get a tire mounted and valve stem replaced for my scooter. I pulled the wheel already. I had called first and the price was right and they could get it done. I got there a bit late and they said they might not be able to get it done but they would try. I appreciated I was late and they would try. I left the wheel, new tire and new valve stem and walked the hood waiting to hear back. About an hour later I get a call saying the job was done. I came in, paid and started to leave, when I noticed that the valve stem was not replaced. At first the the employee tried to tell me they checked

Excellent customer service! I have been bringing my scooters to Mr. Scooter for over 9 years. I had a Japanese scooter & this was the only shop that would work on it. I also had a Buddy, a Scarbeo Aprilla & now I have a Vespa. They always take great care of me & my bikes. I actually bought both my Italian scooters (Scarbeo & Vespa) from this shop. I just trust buying from the owner Pedro more than off of Craigs list because I know the bike has been inspected & repaired. It's worth it to spend a little more to have peace of mind that A. The Scooter is safe to drive &

Friendly and affable staff, but hours of rental were challenging, opening on a Monday at noon and only having the scooter until 6, but charging the same as days when they open at 10:00 am. Beware - this is a pretty rough neighborhood if you're walking from the 16th street BART station. Also - scooters are not vespas or Vespa style, although website infers they are. Scooter was a Sym. Having said all that - seeing the city by scooter is bar none the best way to see it, and it's great to have this service.
