Our front door isn't a standard size and we had been told years before that the only way to get a security screen was to build it out a couple feet from the door. That was unacceptable so we gave up on the idea. We recently thought to try again and called North County Screens. We now have a beautiful security screen flush with the door. They were prompt, explained they had a lot of work right now but would call in a few weeks--then actually did it. He made a custom frame to fit our doorway and it ended up taking him longer to make than he thought. When we said something about his extra time

Excellent service. Paul spent a tremendous amount of time explaining to me what could be done and the process as well as taking his time doing work the correct way. I've had prior experiences bad inexperienced handy man we're they ruined my screens. Get professional help with Paul who onsite rebuilt new screens and explained to me how to keep them in good condition. Pleasant, kind, reliable experienced, educational and caring! I had north county screens come out to replace 12, twenty year old screens and frames on our home. The owner Paul responded promptly to my call, we set up a time and date for him to come out to the house to replace our screens. He stayed in touch and showed up on time, gave me a quote on the cost for new screens and frames and went to work. The new screens and frames look great on the house. I would and am recommending this company if you need new screens and frames or their other services. They do great work, and no hassles, were covid safe and cleaned up when they got done. Paul did an amazing job changing and fixing window screens at my house. His prices are reasonable and it was a pleasure to work with him. He is very polite and courteous. I even asked him to unpack his tools twice as once he finished with the initial job and was ready to leave, I asked him to replace a couple more screens which he gladly did! Overall, a top notch experience!

We're thrilled with our custom screen doors. Our project was tricky because our sliding doors are big and non-standard. We called other places and they couldn't do it. Glad we found Paul. He assessed the situation and built us exactly what we wanted. The new screens are sturdy and look pro. He was easy to work with and responsive , and the price was reasonable.

Paul was wonderful. I reached out and he quickly contacted me right away via the yelp app. I appreciate how he wore a mask during the whole time he was installing the screens or just anywhere near one of us. He got to my house around 9am and didn't leave till 6pm. Takes all day but I admire his work ethic and his dedication to do a great job! Very friendly and good at his work! I love my new screens!

I could tell he didn't want business at this point. I needed a custom size door and already knew that, that's why I called. He had attitude when telling me it was a "custom size and needed special ordering". He proceeded to quote me an overly inflated price of "$300 to $400.00."
I found the size door at VALLEY BLINDES AND SCREENS for $153.00 with shipping and pre assembled. I would not and will never recommend this guy /business. Except to stay clear of this
