Nice location. Clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Short drive to restaurants and beaches, parks dolphin encounters etc. Grills are roomside which we loved. Small beach and pool. Its great. We aren't very needy. Small store with bait. Beer drinks etc. Beautiful 2.5 mile bike/walking path across the ocean..need I go on? ? Amazing

Such a wonderful place ! We most definitely will stay here again ! The staff were very nice n very helpful ! My husband caught a nurse shark, hammer head shark, and 2 big eels from the dock. We saw manatee, sea turtles, jelly fish, sting ray, n other colorful fish from the dock. They sell bait in the office which was a great convenience. The property manager was so nice n so helpful. We had one small problem n it was fixed immediately. We stayed in a cottage and it was clean n roomly. The property is decorated so cute. I highly recommend staying here if you like smaller resorts !!

Everything about this place was awesome. It was laid back. The staff was awesome. The property manager, Johnny was so accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with our first room and without a question he got us into a new one no problem. The set up of this place is fantastic. This is a great place to stay if you wanna fish and get away from it all.

The post read about how they rented 5 cabins and they were kicked out for no reason,
I happen to be there that week and witnessed the following, It was a large group who parked all over the property to include up on the grass, not just played music but blarred music, karaoke till 3am. Not everyone likes the same music and should not have to put up with this. Other guests complained as well and other guests was unable to get rest. Everyone is on vacation to have a good time, but its called common sense and respect

Motel is right out of Hemingway’s time! Edgewater lodge is the fisherman’s motel!
If you are looking for a conventional idea of hotel comfort, look somewhere else)) The room is basic, the bathroom is small,
there is no bathroom fan and I couldn’t open the window there to vent))
Nonetheless, this place has a character!
It’s charming, relaxing, peaceful, serene; right on a water; has a grill you can grill your freshly caught fish.
It has own tiny charming beach and a few docks/ fishing piers you could launch your boat from.

Great lodging @ this Marina. Older rooms, but refurbished, clean, great deck off the rooms right on the water. Beautiful views of sunsets. Saw a sea turtle, manatees, shark, parrot fish, octopus right from the deck. Very cool. Great place to dock your boat overnight as well if you need to. I will be back to stay here on my next Keys trip. Prices are very fair.

Booked online and received confirmation. Then out of the blue they sent an email canceling the booking. No phone call just a single email. When I found out that it was canceled it was a few hours before check in. Had to find another place last minute.
The place would not do anything to fix the problem. Poor customer service. You guys should contact people by phone that you won’t have their room. Would not try again after this nightmare.

We stayed for 4 nights (just checked out this morning) and had everything we needed right there at Edgewater. Scott, Johnny and Alex were all super helpful and down to earth. Scott was especially accommodating… and helped us load and unload our boat. He made sure everyone’s boats were good at night and tied appropriately based on the current. He made sure we had the bait we needed and told us when it was a good time to fish and when it wasn’t. Johnny was very friendly as well, he made us feel at home and like we were buddies. All in all, we will absolutely be returning again

Stayed in a cottage for 4 nights April 2021. Great price for nice clean comfortable accommodations. Had 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen and sitting area. Pots, pans, dishes and silverware were all provided.… Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location right on the shoreline even had small beach. I expected 3 Star accommodations and got more than I expected. It was a good value and i will be back. The cottages and townhouses are especially good for families.

This was our second time staying at Edgewater and as usual everything was great. We did have a little lacking with the house keeping but all in all things were very accessible. The only thing that happened that I was not happy with was concerning the older gentleman who works there. We had an incident with some rowdy kids that were torturing some… iguanas and when I reported it to him he simply said “what do you want me to do about it.” I said ok and walked away. Then the day we left he came and knocked on our door before checkout time (we still had 20 minutes left) and told
