Roy Lewis Construction is a general contracting, design-build and construction management company based in Mobile, Alabama. Since our inception in 1984, Roy Lewis Construction has been focused on commercial construction projects along the Gulf Coast. As your general contractor, it's our job to manage your construction project from start to finish. We are responsible for making sure the final outcome is just what you envision. We will work with the project architect to set plans that meet all local building codes, then we will select sub-contractors to provide services such as electricity, plumbing, etc.
Since 1984 we have been one of Mobile's premier commercial construction contractors. We are not the largest but we believe from our client feedback and referrals received that we are the best. Whether your project is small (such as remodeling an existing office space) or large (true from-the-ground-up construction), Roy Lewis Construction can deliver results.
From time to time owners prefer to take a more active role in their projects and approach us about representing them as their construction manager. We are flexible as to what level of management involvement whether it be CM-Agent or CM-At Risk. Roy Lewis Construction can become involved in your projects design process and consult on proper construction methods, architecture, budgeting and scheduling services.
We offer project design services from as early as schematic planning, preliminary design, to completed Architectural, Structural, and MEP permit documentation. Within the design process we incorporate and bridge the client's architectural vision, energy efficiency/combustibility concerns, sustainability and scheduling criteria all within the planning process.

Roy Lewis Construction did the unit build out for our new location at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Their team was patient and responsive during and after the process. They also maintained a safe and clean jobsite from start to finish due in large part to their onsite project manager, Glenn. I would recommend them for any commercial buildout project.

Roy Lewis construction performed the remodel at our animal clinic and we are very pleased. Great quality work all done in a timely manner. Great group of guys to work with. It was a challenge for us and them because we needed to stay open for business during the remodel but I don't think it could've gone any better. I would definitely use them again.

I hired Paul and his team at Roy Lewis Construction to buildout the inside of a leased space for Planet Smoothie in Orange Beach. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chuck, the on-site super was fantastic to work with, communicating with me daily on the progress and scheduling vendors with equipment installation. They were professional, provided quality work and finished on time even with adding on finishing out my office space. I would highly recommend Roy Lewis Construction and plan to use them again for my next store.
