Services
All cuts include a relaxing shampoo massage and an intense conditioner and are followed by a finishing blow out style and tips on maintaining your new look. This technique is done on clean dry hair and can be added to any color or highlight service or on its own and takes 10 to 15 minutes. Doree uses the most gentle lightning system by Tocco Magico with Olaplex to tie thedisulfide bonds and avoid any damage in blonding.
We learned all of the secrets and have done dozens of keratin infusions and my clients are THRILLED! I didn't know what to do those Gray hairs were coming and my Brown hair had lost its luster I had a conseltation with Doree, she LISTENED and suggested the perfect solution, a few soft highlights, a glaze,the perfect cut ( done with Olivia) and I feel and look GREAT. It's a pleasure to go to such a competent, and talented colorist. And such a friendly and professional salon.

Color was NOTHING like what I asked. I went in expecting to dye my current dark brown hair to darker purplish/blackberry color. I had a consult via email prior to the appointment where reference photos were exchanged along with my current hair color. I was told that the color was achievable and even given explanation for the process. I have never left a salon so disappointed in my life. Pieces of hair were bleached throughout my head and then dyed a red color. NOTHING like what I had asked for. I left the salon with a wet head of hair and after just a few days the color had completely washed out

I tried coloring my own hair & after a summer in the sun it turned out so brassy. I needed color correction & found Doree on the internet. The reviews were fantastic so I decided to make an appointment. I'm so glad I did. Doree corrected my color & I could not be happier. I now have a soft natural blonde that compliments my skin tone. Amazing colorist Doree is, I love my new color shiny and natural . She took time to explain everything the product the history her background. I have been to many salons including NYC and never had such a warm sweet outgoing and knowledgeable colorist. She even sent me photos before and after you cAn tell she loves her job I give her 10 stars! The salon and owner also very very nice

The flight was worth it...
Doree is delight to have as my new hair colorist. she was very nice but above all very knowledgeable and an expert in the industry. I absolutely love my new color and new style cut by Tim he was also very good at accomplishing the style I was looking for.
This was my first time going Allendale Hair studios, but won't be my last.
I am glad to say I have found myself a new salon..

Doree has been cutting my hair for at least 7 years. I have been extremely pleased and have received many compliments. I love the hair color .It is very natural and has the appearance of highlights even though it is a single process.

Doree has colored and cut my hair for over 15 years now -- she is a true professional and always listens to what I want and does an amazing job. I frequently get compliments on my hair and it is due to the great job that she does -- I recommended another friend to her who colors and has very curly hair and she is extremely happy with Doree as well. I have never used another colorist/stylist once I found Doree and highly recommend her!!!

There are hair dressers and then there is Doree. I never gave my hair much thought in the past but now that Doree does her magic, I definitely see the difference. My hair has life to it now. In addition to her talent, she cares so completely about her clients and wants to bring them joy. She succeeds in spades. You will not be disappointed if your put your hair in her completely competent hands. She is an artist.

I love Doree! I found her through a Google search and after reading her reviews and checking out her website, decided I wanted to go and schedule a consult. I had just gotten a very Unfortunate Haircut (my hair is extremely curly - and all you curly girls know how getting waaay too much lopped off can wreck your life!) and I had dyed my extremely over-processed highlighted hair a dull brown simply to try and make it look better while I figured out what to do with it. Doree Mortillo of Allendale Hair Studio is an exceptional Master Colorist. She uses the Tocco Magico line of hair color which contains herbal based natural ingredients. I have lots of grays that need to be colored and I always leave the salon with a perfectly suited hair color that is shiny and silky looking. Not only is Doree great at her trade, she is also a warm and caring person. The way I became a client of hers was when I won a gift certificate that she had donated to a school's fundraiser.
