The theory behind acupuncture treatment is that the healthy functioning of the body is governed by the flow of "qi" (often translated as "energy") through a system of channels under the skin. I have just started going to Lotus for fertility acupuncture and I don't think I could love this place any more! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Thoa and Dr. Rhoda are really a master at what they do. Dr. Thoa is very straightforward and opinionated, so bring your noise canceling headphones. 😂
After a couple failed IVF, I decided to try acupuncture. Afterall, what else do I have to lose. They accept insurance, which was a huge relief after all the money we spent on treatments and medication.
The best part of this experience... I'm currently expecting.

I’m so glad I found Dr. Thoa at Lotus Acupuncture. I have been suffering from low back pain ever since having my first child and Dr. Thoa was able to help me feel like myself again. She was very patient in listening to my issues and was clear with expectations and treatment goals. Her office is very warm and inviting, along with her staff members. Dr. Thoa and her team are the best acupuncturists and holistic providers I have ever seen. They take the time to get to know me and my concerns and provide comprehensive treatment plans that work at relieving pain, stress, sleep issues and anything else I am facing. Dr. Thoa also treated me throughout my entire pregnancy and I felt so relieved tobe in such knowledgeable hands. Somehow Dr Thao read my mind that I really needed her expertice. She had her receptionist call me and scheduled my appointment. Everyone was very professional starting with the receprionist, Jenna who gave me a very therapeutic and relaxing massage and of course Dr Thao. Their new clinic is a state of the art and very clean and everyone practiced proper covid precautions.

I started going to see Dr. Kyala and Dr. Thoa for shoulder pain,and tight back from weight lifting. I have to be honest that I am not a fan of needles and I was skeptical when I first came to see the acupuncturist.
Might I be so bold to say she has healing hands?
I was also able to have PR after seeing them, the intensity of the pain has lessened, my range of movement has improved and the frequency of the pain decreased from daily to rarely occurring monthly.

This place helped me feel normal again! I coincidentally had an appointment the day I had a major life event and can I tell you they brought me back to feeling normal again! I came in here with so much pain and other issues. I haven't been back because it's too far for me, but if they were closer I'd go there 2x a week at least.

I have been visiting the Winter Park office for about 2 months now and I am so thankful to have found Dr. Natalia Gonzalez. She has such a sweet personality and is very attentive to client concerns. The office is extremely inviting and the reception staff are always hospitable and smiling (with their masks on). I feel very safe with this office. All staff and clients wear masks and client temperature is taken when they arrive. I highly recommend this office and their services!

I had my first massage here today with Luke, a 90 min. Deep tissue...I barely have words. It was everything I was hoping for. I've had many, many, many massages, 95% of which are disappointing. In my experience most massage therapists might spend an extra 5-10 minutes on "areas of concern" but then go about doing their normal routine.
Luke has no routine. He treated my body as completely unique. He careful, expertly, intuitively, and forcefully addressed all the right spots and with the right amount of attention. He asked a few questions at the appropriate times but otherwise just did his thing

I was invited to try Lotus Acupuncture for the first time by a recommendation from a friend of mine and I've got to say, Dr. Thoa is amazing at what she does and she is super friendly and a pleasure to speak with. I went in for help with my allergies and anxiety and the response my body has seen to her acupuncture has been phenomenal. She also knows her stuff and is constantly researching new methods and improving on old techniques. As someone who has had acupuncture services for 20 years, the experience at Lotus acupuncture was great. Dr. Thoa and Kevin, office manager, greeted me upon arrival, reviewed my background material and asking pertinent questions concerning my particular service needs today. After a thorough explanation of what she would complete in the session, she began my care and on numerous occasions asked me of my comfort and how the treatment was proceeding. I would highly recommend Dr. Thoa and the Lotus acupuncture team for future services.

I called Kevin at 1:30pm on Thursday even though website said Dr. Thoa was fully booked. He returned my call in like five minutes and said Dr. Thoa will fit me into her schedule !!!!!! Granted, I sounded pretty desperate on the phone. My head wasn't moving. That's stressful.
I was in severe pain when I arrived, and seriously had next-to-zero mobility. Moderate/dull pain when I left and a bit more functional operation with my neck. It was my first time getting acupuncture but the percentage of people who told me to seek it out when my neck went haywire was too great to ignore.

A friend recommended Thoa for acupuncture so I naturally came to Yelp to check out her reviews. The skeptic in me couldn't believe someone was that good at his job. She had 5 stars, I could buy that. But the actual reviews? They were beyond glowing recommendations! After a few sessions, this skeptic was proven wrong. It's been 4 months without a sciatica. I love coming here! Karina and Dr. Thoa is very sweet and caring. You can tell that they love to help people and knows their stuff. Dr. Thoa also knows I hate needles and she took the time to check on me often to make sure I was feeling relaxed. If you are anything like me, hate the needling but the love the results this is the place to go. We are reducing pain from a scar tissue caused a childhood accident. I am a hair-stylist and my body is put through rigorous strain especially on my neck, back, and forearms. I originally came to Lotus as my last hope before I went to a dr. to see why I kept having reoccurring numbness in my forearm with shooting tingling sensations. Lotus Acupuncture and Massage is a hidden gem in Winter Park! They also have a good deal on acupuncture services. Karina is an amazing massage therapist! She uses just the right amount of pressure and after a session, your problem areas will feel so much better. Definitely make an appointment with her if you're in the area. I always feel rejuvenated and calm afterwards. So relaxing! Best of all, they accept my health insurance.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Thoa. After suffering for months with debilitating anxiety, I made an appointment at the recommendation of my best friend to get acupuncture. I did not have high expectations, but I was desperate. After the first session I experienced immediate relief....unfortunately it only lasted a couple days. but she had warned me that my meridians have been closed off for so long that they would probably have a tendency to close back up, which was why we were scheduling my first recession pretty close together. I heard how acupuncture works, but I've always been skeptical. I've had knee pain for months now. I'm overweight but not obese and I do Crossfit 5 times a week. I didn't hurt my knee working out but I guess the pounding of box jumps and squatting triggered the knee pain plus being overweight doesn't help. I take a daily regimen of aleve for the pain and also wear a knee brace when I work out. What drove me to try acupuncture was because the aleve and knee brace didn't seem to help that much. Dr. Ho is amazing. My mom had treatment with Dr. Ho. and she experienced results immediately. For 3 weeks, she had unspecified GI pain. We went to her primary care Dr and did bloodwork and all the tests the Dr ordered- everything came back normal and nothing could explain the pain my mom was feeling. We were recommended to Dr. Ho by a friend who had treatment for her back pains.
