The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center has been a hub for artistic and creative community in Sugar Loaf, NY since its construction in 1992. Originally known as the Lycian Center for the Performing Arts, this venue was the vision of its creator Mr. Richard Logothetis, Owner and President of Lycian Stage Lighting.

The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center is committed to providing the residents of Chester and Mid Hudson Valley with a thriving arts and community facility. We aim to bring in and host both local and international artistic performances, events, as well as educational and community involvement programs.

Your choice to discriminate against those who are not vaccinated gets you a one star review. Changing your policy and caving in to politics will give you an empty theater. So now we know the Town of Chester is a disgrace, caving in to unconstitutional rules. Smells like a class action lawsuit.

Outstanding! Just saw LeAnn Rimes. Everything was perfect. Easy parking and entry. Sound and lighting couldn't be better. Wonderful show and audience. Can't wait to see the next performance.

Went there to see the Rhythm of the Dance perform by the dancer from Ireland. The theater is well design and have comfortable seating. This places has various shows for everyone (Broadway's show, concert, Top recording Artists & etc). Best place for relaxing programs. Highly recommended to go.
