Sweet Tooth Cakes and Pastries is the vision of Chef Steve Thomas, intending to provide his community with high-quality, specialty desserts. Chef Thomas's passion for baking was awakened as a young boy, in his mother's kitchen.

After college, he went on to work in the hospitality industry to further refine his skills and was offered several apprenticeship opportunities under the tutelage of several European chefs, learning traditional methods, allowing him to create his own recipes.Chef Thomas has worked as a Head Pastry Chef for many well-known hotels including JW Marriott, The Vista Hotel, Hilton International, Hyatt, and the Gaylord Hotel at the National Harbor.

Sweet Tooth Cafe & Catering is the newest addition to the Sweet Tooth family of companies. In 2012, Sweet Tooth began as a partnership between Chef Thomas of Sweet Tooth Cakes and Pastries, and his wife Sara. Today, we are the DMV masters of Catered Platters, and local comfort food.

Our loyal customer base has stayed strong, but also quickly fell in love with our Cafe menu favorites like Chicken with Attitude and Curry Chicken Salad along with an extensive array of menu choices.The catering department has found its own success with catering has found its own success with catering for local corporate luncheons, banquets and personal family events.

Halal Bakery and Food Processing certification process requires careful analysis to ensure Halal compliance. Per the Islamic Services of America, there are many products used that must be investigated in order to meet Halal compliance standards. Prior to any Halal product and/or facility approvals, ISA's Halal QA Team considers all aspects of products in their raw and finished states.

Our gourmet Birthday Cakes are prepared in a wide array of flavors and frostings. We have perfected our cakes over the last 25 years, and they can be customized with a myriad of colors, trims, designs, layers, shapes, and sizes. The Sweet Tooth Cafe menu consists of Halal food options, ranging from pizzas and wings, to sandwiches, burgers, subs, and delicious side orders. We also serve a delicious and dynamic breakfast and hot bar dinner options. None of our food products are made from pork products, and all meats are either beef, turkey, or chicken.
