MENU:
** injera (regular) = (4.25) Very good Texture

** Awaze Tibs = (4.25) Very filling
** Hardboiled Eggs (w/o sauce) = (4) jumbo size...so one is enough for me;)
** Spicy Steamed Broccoli = (4) very tasty
** Gomen = (4) very good
* Keysir with Ayib = (3) ok...but I couldn't taste the "house horseradish vinaigrette", so I'm not convinced it was there...?

This is my second ever and best Ethiopian experience. The staff was extremely friendly and did really well with explaining the menu and making recommendations for us newbies.
Everything from the injera (bread), meat, etc was so fresh, perfectly seasoned and my mouth is watering thinking back on it. We also tried some of the Ethiopian beer which paired with everything quite nicely.
Our group accidentally stayed past closing and at no point did the staff rush us at all. We felt badly about keeping them later and losing track of time, but they were so gracious and made us feel right at home. I

Fantastic food and spectacular service. I had to try it twice before writing my review. The first time I had beef ribs and veggie platter and the second time I had Kitfo. Based on those dishes, you literally can't go wrong. Each time I had Ethiopian coffee as well because, well you know a woman's work is never done, so I left full and caffeinated. I am so in love with the taste of the food that I could make this a once a week treat for myself. I see a trip to Ethiopia in my future.....

I'll be the first to say that I'm not an expert on Ethiopian food but this place is delicious!
We got the Sambussa to start and almost only got the beef based on another review and I'm glad we didn't because the lentil one was definitely the better one.
We then got the chicken sampler and lamb based the waitress' recommendation. Both were delicious! My husband and I both had our own favorites but overall our favorites were both lamb.
It seems to be family run and everyone is very friendly. I'm glad we have this little neighborhood gem.

We've only ordered from here twice; never sit-in dining. Both times, I've been happy with my order but my husband has been left rummaging for something else afterward.
Portion: both portions of main dish and sides were full up in the allotted to-go containers
flavor: I loved my lamb alicha and my collard greens! The lamb tibs and the yellow split peas was not as loved. The split peas were very very earthy, too much so for our taste. The tibs were not met with happy noises from the husband, which is all I can say for the dish because I didn't taste it.
texture: My order was fantastic

Great service and food!
My friend ordered the vegan vegetarian platter and I ordered the kitfo. The waitress brought out tofu instead of kitfo but came back with the correct dish within a few minutes. She checked up on us a few times, got me some extra napkins as well. She also gave us 2 forks in case we needed it.
I smashed the kitfo which was medium spicy and I asked for mitta mitta (spicy powder) on the side. The dish tasted really fresh which I totally appreciated which it's basically Ethopian beef tartar. The vegan platter was super yummy. I love that they brought out a full plate

This Ethiopian Restaurant definitely hit the mark. I fell in love with this type of food after dining in. Their Ingera is definitely superior to others I've visited. A pro tip for those who are averse to strong spices, go for the yebeg tibs ( lamb cubes). I was pleasantly surprised with how tender and perfectly flavored the lamb was. It just tasted like stir fry lamb with some seasoning. Tasted really fresh and simple. Definitely would come back here whenever I'm craving Ethiopian food.

We ordered takeout and loved it! I got tikil gomen, with a side of gomen, eggplant, and a side of the timatim salata. My partner got the meat sampler
and she left hers as well! The portions are generous and we had leftovers to enjoy with the remaining delicious injera! Can't wait to order from here again!

This is our favorite Ethiopian Restaurant. Before I agreed to go to an Ethiopian restaurant I had an aversion to the Injera bread after I ate it for the first time in a restaurant in Washington.D.C. It did not taste good to me so I couldn't bring myself to eat it again. However, my daughter promised that this one is delicious and insisted on me going with her. I reluctantly went and she was correct, everything including the Injera bread was delicious and it was healthy. After we ate we didn't feel stuffed and bloated like we do after eating from some other places.
Plus, it's small

My boyfriend and I placed a pick up order around 7:00pm this past Saturday evening. We were happy to hear that the order would only take about 15 minutes to get ready!
I drove up and it was located in a little strip center next to Amina Thai. There was only 1 other couple dining inside, but a few other pick up orders waiting. When the server handed me the bag, let me tell you, it was HEAVY. They load you up with food here! We ordered the beef and chicken sampler and the veggie sampler (our typical order at Ethiopian restaurants since we love to try a little bit of everything) and they were both

Sheba engages in what is referred to as "stuffing", for lack of a better term. I couldn't tell until I tried them the 2nd time around in order to be fair to them. But now I'm positive of it especially after talking and showing this to my friend who is also a cook at a restaurant.
Basically, they don't put alot of meat into their meat platter combos and its hidden by putting alot more injera bread underneath the meat. So when you open up and lift the bread, you see cubes of meat. But if you look deeper and start eating, you'll find that there isn't alot of meat

I've been to Sheba a couple times now and have enjoyed the food. Service was always good, with our waitress being attentive. If you order a non-alcoholic beverage, I have noticed you do wait some time for it, though. Luckily for me, I usually order one of their Ethiopian beers or the Tej Honey wine.
My go to at Sheba is the beef sambussa and Sheba special tibs. The sambussas (2/order) are filled with a good amount of ground beef that's seasoned well. I like how it's lightly fried and has a nice crunch to it. If you want to add some heat to the appetizer, don't forget to dip
