After years of going to the same garage barbershop, I wanted to switch it up and decided to try this salon. I showed up a few minutes early, and while you wait for your appointment, there are complimentary drinks in the waiting area. I had my hair cut by Ann, and she was very friendly and understanding. I just showed her an example of what I wanted (short on the sides and messy top), and she knew exactly how to get it done. We searched online for a barber to take my son so he could just simply get a little trim. The trim turned into a complete nightmare. He only asked for a simple little bit off and the hairdresser took it upon herself to not only chop off all his curls and highlights, she left him with a uneven mess I’d trust a kindergartner to do a better job.
This has left him with no confidence whatsoever and feeling completely depressed. I will note the owner refunded our money but it will take at least a year or more to get his hair back to what it was. There are three photos of his after hair and one that

I absolutely recommend 18|8! I've been going there since the beginning of this year with Lisa as my stylist and now refuse to go to any other place. Lisa listens to all of my small (and annoying) requests and perfectly styles my hair every time without any rushing or impatience. This past visit, I wanted to try out a new style but wasn't sure how to describe it properly. Lisa helped a TON with figuring out what I wanted and did it a fabulous job!! I'll definitely be going back for as long as possible.

Oscar was everything I needed. I am super picky about my hair and Oscar took the time to make sure it was done right. He was super positive the entire time and cut my hair pefectly. Ive been to a lot of 18/8's across the nation and Oscar gave me the best executive haircut and executive beard trim by far! I highly recommend him as he goes above and beyond!! Thanks so much Oscar!!

Christina is the best. The quality service and price are honestly worth it because Christina knows exactly what cut to give every time I come in. Even with the mask mandates her bright, professional attitude always makes the experience welcoming and thoughtful. I recommend Christina to anyone on the penninsula looking for a haircut!

I came to this place after a 30 minute drive to get a good consultation on hair styling but I’m extremely disappointed in the way the stylist cut my hair. To add to being a senior stylist, she made a blunder with my beard style and wanted to leave it as it was, and I had to ask her to correct it. Even your near by Supercuts will do a better job, so all the fanciness here is just a show. I had pay $115 for the services and I’m extremely dissatisfied about the whole experience. New goers please watch out.

Very expensive place for a haircut. The hairdresser doesn’t listen to our needs. They do and suggest as they feel right for our hair. Wont be coming back here again. The cleaning process after haircut is hopeless. Not value for money. Covid protocols have been maintained. Most of them are vaccinated.

Due to timing, I have been to 2 different stylist and both of the really get my hair on a track after I messed it up pretty bad. Courtney did a great job fixing it and Kristina helped shape it more after.
It's definitely a bit more expensive than I'm used to. That said, it's a very friendly environment and good place for a man to keep kept up.
