Yesterday when my son and I walked into the store with a broken lacrosse stick, we were guided by cheerful staff to an amazing young man named Eric. Eric explained to my son the problem and showed him how to reattach the head to the stick, Eric drilled the couple of screws we had and added a third, that we paid 36 cents for-including tax. Let's all support our local stores. More that a store, an education!

Always loved this store and have been shopping here since 1985. Well I will now have to think twice about coming back here. Yesterday I purchased an IHealth Covid-19 test kit at $27.99 each. It is the IHealth brand in an orange and white box. Just went to the Ihealth website 12/29 to see the cost of the Test kits. One box is $13.98 plus $4- shipping. ihealthlabs.com I think that Berger should be ashamed of themselves for gouging people like this. Watch all your prices at Berger on EVEYTHING. (No the big two did not have it , and it is nice to support the little guys anyway.)
Berger has its own parking lot uoon entry we asked where the item was. The young man whom we asked did notbknow where the item was, but within moments a scond employee was paged and led us directly to the item.
The store is part old fashioned- knowledgeable workers able to give advice- and also modern- it carries traditional hardware and also the seasonal and convenience items.

I am so happy to still have a regular hardware store still in business after all of these Mass chains opened up. The service and Burger Hardware puts Home Depot, Lowe's and any other of these large chain stores to shame . This Mass chain stores put so many other mom and pop hardware stores out of business. But still, everyone at Berger is polite, courteous and so helpful. I can't say enough about them. You never have to look for them, They come & find you to see what they can do to help you. The place is simply terrific, Five stars is not enough ******. I truly wish that these large chain stores

Not providing good service as a Stihl dealer. The first time I bought my electric saw there, the young man did not even bother to show me how to operate it, although Stihl required their dealers to do that for their new clients. The second time I went to replace my chain, he let me waited 30 minutes and still no service. At that moment I decided to just walk out of the door and find a more friendly Stihl dealer elsewhere. This place does appear to care about its Stihl clients.

The help is incredible. They are usually very knowledgeable and they usually have what you are looking for.. If they don't they'll order it or find a substitute which will work. I have not waited for someone to approach me and ask me if I needed help. This is a very large hardware store and I dare say it has everything and anything you require. This is the best hardware store in the area hands down.

Bergers is taking advantage of people during Covid-19 and it is very upsetting... I try to shop locally, especially during times like this. Instead of giving my money to the Home Depot I choose to come to places like this to support our mom and pop shops. Today I sent an employee to Bergers for hand sanitizer (something that is in high demand during this time). Locally made bottles that retail for $2.79 are now being sold at Bergers for $5.99 each! They are literally charging DOUBLE THE PRICE! Totally unacceptable and upsetting to see our local community taking advantage of people while they are

We had a grease fire in our Weber grill that got out of control quickly. The guys here repaired the damaged unit so we didn't have to trash it. Their customer service was impeccable! Everything from pick up to drop off was seamless. They are a very professionally run reliable business and we would definitely use them again in the future. The manager, Kevin, does a really great job of running this business. Thanks again!!

Stopped in last week to look at a new grill. They had a terridic display and the manager, Kevin, was impressively knowledgeable about the products. I did purchase a grill, 2 propane tanks and they only charged for one fill. Good service, good prices (cheaper than my local hardware store), putting the grill together and delivery was free. I've been going to Berger for almost 30 year's and have yet to be disappointed.

I haven't been to the Home Depot, which is 10 minutes away from my house because Berger has it all. I can't remember the last time Berger did not have what I needed, and I am a very active homeowner, always fixing and upgrading my home. There is always people asking me if I need help. Its also a great place for cleaning supplies, kitchen ware and other household items. Great place, the way retail should be.

Great service. Super knowledgeable caring people. Great inventory. I always go to them first for all my paint and hardware needs. They also have an excellent appliance store next door with the same top quality service. You will not waste a lot of time and money buying things in the wrong sizes that you don't need the way you do with those incompetent big box stores, especially that orange box store!

I am a big supporter of local businesses. The customer service here blows away Home Depot. Amazing staff that is so accommodating.
They are closer and more convenient for me. While a some of the items are slightly more expensive then Home Depot, it is worth it for the service and to support a local business

I came here because I needed to change the lock on my door. I searched online for ways to save money on this, and learned that I could purchase a rekey kit and change the pins on the lock myself. I came here because it was the only place I could find that was open so early, and was immediately asked by staff if I needed help. They directed me to Joe, "the lock guy", who explained that I would be crazy to try to rekey the lock myself (and he's right, it was hard enough just to get the knob back onto the door....).

Well as of today Berger's has lost our business forever. My husband and his family have lived in the same town as Berger's since the sixties and Berger's was always the go to place for everything. We even had a family member, who has since passed on, who worked there some years ago. Anyway, my husband went there to buy a watering can to water the plants we put on our son's grave, when he realized he had forgotten his wallet. He asked if the store could accommodate him, so the clerk called the manager, who went into a tirade in front of other staff and customers and abruptly

Berger Hardware is exactly what big box stores can never be, a community institution. The staff are always exceptionally helpful, they seem to pride themselves on helping customers. I always try Berger before the box stores because they almost always have what I need (most recently a T10 secure torque screw driver) as Berger is surprisingly large inside without being overwhelming and the prices are very competitive. I find its generally best to support neighborhood shops if you want to live in a nice neighborhood, and with Berger, you won't be disappointed.

Ye old world hardware store. This is nowhere near our home, but as we were visiting the most excellent Berger Appliance store next door, might as well stop in and get anything I might think I need rather than going to Home Depot

Great store they have all your hardware needs and a nice variety of general household products...they would have received 5 stars from me if the store wasn't so cluttered (only shows you they have everything) and they young kid I asked a question to just admitted he didn't know and didn't waste my time.
