Brill's Shoes was founded by Aaron Brill in 1936. The facility moved from Colton to San Bernardino in 1964 and has been in two different locations on Highland Ave since then. Mr Brill retired in 1980 and his son-in-law Barry Silver "took over the reigns" and continues to serve its loyal customers to this day.

I worked here for over 10 years, simply the most rewarding job. After I moved to NorCal my plantar fasciitis became a major problem, Barry set me up in Ecco shoes and Birkenstock arch supports, problem solved. After mail ordering for years I need to get in for other styles. If they can't fit your feet, no one can.

I have been for 6 mos trying to get shoes for a person who is diabetic they keep getting shoes to small now after waiting another 3 weeks no phone calls to me I call and I am told they are not going to do these and I am one of the ones they are going to be dropped. After 3 weeks of waiting now you say this " she has to much work to do " how unprofessional is this, fine you can stop doing this type of shoes business, but you need to finish with the clients you have not just drop the ball DO NOT GO HERE EVEN FOR ANY TYPE OF SHOE OR BUSINESS BAD PLACE

I finally visited Brill Shoes after living in San Bernardino for 11 years and having passed it hundreds of times. The workers in the store were gracious and welcoming. I arrived there on a Friday afternoon a half hour before closing time. They have lovely, quality shoes and these are very nicely displayed. I was also given a catalog of other styles that they would be happy to order. They also told me of their fitting services. For decades, I have worn Clark shoes, which is an English company. These have become difficult to find and I get them online, but of course cannot try them until they are
